We recently stayed at a charming inn in a rural area with a couple of towns about 20-30 minutes away. The location was great for our family as we could easily drive to a convenience store and explore the nearby river for a day of fun. The room we stayed in was spacious and clean, with a comfortable bed and a well-maintained bathroom. The staff was friendly and attentive, making sure we had everything we needed. The breakfasts served were delicious, starting with a refreshing fruit dish followed by a hearty main course. We also enjoyed the beautiful view of the Shenandoah mountain range during our stay.

I had a wonderful anniversary escape at The Inn & Tavern At Meander. Upon arrival, we were greeted with a lovely wine and cheese spread in our spacious and comfortable room. The midweek package we chose included a picnic lunch and in-room dinner, both of which were absolutely perfect. The innkeepers were attentive to our needs and made sure to accommodate any dietary restrictions. The breakfast each day was delicious and satisfying. The property itself was beautiful, with easy trails along a river and cornfields, offering stunning views of sunrise and sunset. The historic charm of the inn added to the overall experience. Although there were a few drawbacks, such as the lack of TV and high-speed internet, and some maintenance issues, the pros far outweighed the cons. I highly recommend this hotel for a peaceful and perfect stay.

During my Christmas stay, I was absolutely thrilled with the authentic and stunning beauty of the historic building. the Groom's cottage provided a much, needed bathtub for soaking after a long hike. the room was clean, comfortably cooled, and exuded a lovely ambiance. Additionally, the grounds were meticulously maintained, despite the recent rain. I was also delighted by the breakfast options, which included a delicious fruit dish and a satisfying main course of eggs and meat.

My experience was not without its shortcomings. the front entrance of the property was being remodeled during my check, in, which was a bit inconvenient.
