Funky vibe in a great location

The rooms were large and comfy, with a full kitchen and cool retro decor. I loved having two TVs and the free parking. The area is super walkable with lots of restaurants. Only bummer was the breakfast options could’ve been better. Some creaky floors and noisy housekeeping were a bit annoying too.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at a hotel in a residential area in Portland, and I must say, it was a fantastic experience. the location was superb, situated in the Pearl district and conveniently located on the trolley line. This made it incredibly easy to explore the city without any hassle. The staff at the hotel were exceptional - friendly, helpful, and always ready to assist with any requests or questions. The rooms were comfortable and well-equipped, with all the kitchen amenities possible. I particularly enjoyed the outdoor patio, a great spot to relax and unwind after a day of sightseeing. Additionally, breakfast was included in the lounge, and the fresh bagels and 'flippy waffle machines' were a highlight of the morning.

All in all, I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. There was only one minor aspect that could be improved, but overall, everything was more than satisfactory.

During my Christmas stay at this hotel, I loved the vibrant and colorful decor that added a fun and playful atmosphere. the fusion glass art pieces in the entrance were a beautiful touch. the well-equipped kitchen with plenty of cooking pans was a bonus, especially for those who prefer to cook their own meals. Additionally, the free streetcar passes provided easy access to explore the city without the hassle of driving.

One aspect that I didn't particularly enjoy was the strong smell in the room upon entering. It was a bit off-putting, but fortunately, it didn't linger inside the room for long.

The value for money at the Inn at Northrup was exceptional, with a spacious and clean room that had all the amenities we needed. The location was perfect, with plenty of nearby food options and the convenience of free streetcar passes. The staff was incredibly friendly and went above and beyond to make us feel at home.

We just had an amazing stay at a small inn in Portland. From the moment we arrived, the staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. They even answered all of our questions with a smile. We requested a quiet room and were pleasantly surprised by the spaciousness and colorful decor. We loved the kitchenette and large bathroom. One small touch that we appreciated was the recycling bin in the room. We also took advantage of the free streetcar to explore downtown. we couldn't have asked for a better experience. We will definitely be returning to this fabulous inn in the future. Highly recommended!

As young holiday goers, we absolutely loved the fully equipped kitchens in the rooms, the delicious breakfast offerings, the vibrant rooftop patio, the unique artwork throughout the hotel. The staff was responsive and helpful with all our requests.

We felt completely at ease during our stay and had no complaints whatsoever.

The hotel's cleanliness is exceptional, rivaling that of 4/5 star hotels. The attention to detail is evident throughout the property, with playful touches like a half-open kettle lid and neatly lined up knives. The vibrant decor adds to the unique atmosphere. The location is convenient, with easy access to the rest of the city and numerous food and cultural activities/options within walking distance. I particularly enjoyed the proximity to Jamison Square, the Portland Art Museum, Powell's Bookstore, and Whole Foods. The availability of free parking and complimentary street car tickets were definite pluses. The staff was friendly and accommodating. The continental breakfast offered a good variety of options, including fruit, yogurt, cereal, and waffles. The use of real dishes instead of disposable ones was a nice touch.

Located in a fantastic area, with a great vibe and easy access to a beloved restaurant. The downtown-ish area is within walking distance, and the described room is lovely, with a comfy bed and a kitchen complete with a dishwasher. Breakfasts in the morning are delicious, and candies are always available as an extra treat in the lobby. Additionally, free parking spaces are available in the back.

Service could be improved, with some guests reporting a lack of attention from staff members.
