We loved the cleanliness of the hotel, especially the pool and the beach. The hotel facilities were top-notch, with lots of chairs and sun beds available on the lovely private beach. The location of the hotel right on the beach was perfect for us, and we enjoyed being able to easily access the nearby pier at the Key Colony Beach Club. The staff at the hotel were also very helpful and accommodating.

Direct beach access with palm trees, lounge chairs, and tiki hut style tables and chairs create a cute beach area. the comfortable beds and pillows make for a cozy stay. Plus, the pool is a great place to relax and soak up the warm sun.

Although the beach and pool area are lovely, it's a downside that there are many smokers around. the main covered area being near the room's entrance means the smell of cigarette and cigar smoke can be noticeable when coming in or out of the room.

For the price, the value at this beachfront motel was exceptional. The room was clean, with attention to detail, and had plenty of plug ins and hooks in the bathroom. The location was excellent, with a beautiful beach and pool area. The staff, especially the sweet young lady at the front desk, were friendly and welcoming.

our anniversary stay in marathon was even more amazing thanks to key colony beach motel. the location was perfect, with a beautiful beach area and covered tiki area. the service was exceptional, with a free upgrade and an attentive maid. would definitely stay there again!

It's a great mid-point for exploring the Florida Keys. Despite some hurricane damage in the surrounding area, this motel quickly made repairs. The beauty and location of the motel made up for any minor flaws. As low-budget travelers, we found good value for money here.
