Kilauea Lodge & Restaurant offers a cozy atmosphere with charming rooms and an excellent location near Volcanoes National Park. I enjoyed the hot tub access and the breakfast options were impressive, especially the omelets. However, breakfast service could start earlier to accommodate early risers. Great for couples or families looking to explore the area.

I was disappointed with the lack of daily maintenance in our room. There was no trash removal or fresh towels during our 2-night stay, which made things quite inconvenient. Additionally, the noise from the coqui frogs outside was unbearable at night, and the bathroom was too hot to relax in, largely due to the towel heater being stuck on. Overall, several small details like the door lock position added to my frustration.

Staying in a cozy upstairs room with high ceilings and a lovely gas fireplace created a warm atmosphere for my night of relaxation. The food was truly delightful, especially the superb dinner paired with a wonderful wine selection, and the staff's friendly demeanor made the experience even more enjoyable. Exploring the short nature trail and unwinding in the hot tub surrounded by trees added a special touch to my visit, making the close proximity to the national park an added bonus.

The cottage was beautifully appointed and much more spacious than expected. Breakfast offerings were great, especially the unique French toast – a delightful start before exploring Volcano National Park. Looking forward to returning for a longer stay!

kilauea lodge and restaurant is in a great spot, just minutes from the national park. the staff were super welcoming, making our stay even better. the restaurant had amazing comfort food, and my teen raved about the tomato soup as one of the best meals on our trip.

The restaurant serves excellent meals, including the best breakfast options experienced during my stay. The hot tub offered a relaxing end to days filled with exploration.

This place has the best atmosphere! We loved chilling in the garden hot tub after a long day of hiking. The breakfast was legit – try the banana pancakes! Only thing was our room didn’t get fresh towels every day, which was a bit weird. Happy hour was a fun way to unwind!
