We had a wonderful stay at this luxurious 4-star hotel. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel like family. The location of this place is unbeatable - right by the ocean, on the boardwalk, and in the heart of downtown. The room was beautifully decorated and had all the amenities we needed, from ironing facilities to a mini-bar. The pool area was stunning, and we enjoyed sipping cocktails by the poolside snack bar. The staff, from the valet to the front desk clerks, were attentive and provided excellent service.

The hotel recently reopened and has made extra efforts for a comfortable stay. The pool area offers a great view of the ocean with a bar and plenty of lounging options. The villa accommodation is spacious for a family of four. The staff is genuinely friendly and helpful, creating a welcoming atmosphere.

The pool area was amazing, with comfortable chaise lounges and stunning views of the ocean. I enjoyed a delicious meal at The Med, the on-site restaurant, and the staff was friendly and efficient. The location was perfect, just a short walk to the breathtaking cove where I could see seals and sea lions. I would highly recommend this resort for a San Diego trip.

Best location! the hotel is in the heart of it all, with restaurants, shopping, and the beach all within walking distance. Plus, the views are incredible, especially if you're lucky enough to get a room with an ocean view. the staff were also very friendly and went out of their way to accommodate our needs.

Worst part was the outdated rooms. the decor was old and in need of updating.

The location was centrally located with plenty of good restaurants and shops nearby. Parking was easy to find, so we didn't have to use the hotel valet. a great experience as bike riders!

We had a fantastic stay at this hotel in La Jolla. The location could not be better, right in the center of things and close to the ocean. The hotel had amazing views from everywhere and it was easy to walk to everything La Jolla has to offer. The hotel facilities were top-notch, with a heated pool and a nice poolside retreat. The staff provided excellent service, ensuring that our needs were met. Additionally, we appreciated the daily newspaper, bottled water, and valet parking included in the resort fee.

No daily housekeeping, valet did not help with luggage, and breakfast brunch only took reservations.

We had an amazing time at La Valencia Hotel! The location was perfect, just a short walk to the Cove and ocean walk. The hotel itself was beautifully decorated with colorful Talavera tiles, giving it a classic and vibrant atmosphere. We enjoyed watching the sunset at the Terrace restaurant and lounge, which had a stunning ocean view. The live music in the café was a nice touch and the food and drinks were delicious. In the mornings, we loved going for walks along the ocean trail and swimming in the cove, where we got to see seals, sea lions, and birds. It was a unique experience that we don't get in NYC. The staff was incredibly caring, friendly, and accommodating throughout our stay. We can't wait to come back!
