The hotel's location was superb, within a short walk to the beach and the vibrant funk zone with its restaurants and shops. The staff went above and beyond, especially Esteban at the front desk, who warmly greeted me and provided valuable information about the hotel and the surrounding areas. The room I stayed in, number 17 by the pool, was impeccably clean and had excellent water pressure and temperature control in the shower. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the linens were soft, clean, and smelled fresh. Additionally, the hotel offered perks such as complimentary chilled sparkling wine, a daily wine hour, and a hearty breakfast selection.

The outdoor patio is charming and perfect for relaxing. The complimentary cheese and crackers in the afternoon are a nice touch. The location is very convenient. The rooms are clean and spacious, with a separate living room and large bathroom. The breakfast has a good variety of options and the happy hour snacks are tasty. The bike rental is a great perk. The shower is excellent.

On one morning, there wasn't enough space for guests to sit down and eat their breakfast. It would be helpful if the hotel allowed guests to use the facilities of their sister hotel during busy times.

Staying in this hotel is a great option for budget travellers who don't want to give up comfort and location in expensive California. This place has an odd location in a residential district but don't let that discourage you, as it's very close to the beach. The hotel's staff provides great service, and the breakfast is average with 2-3 types of bagels, apples, and coffee.

If you want something more luxurious, you might be disappointed. The furniture is outdated, and the carpet could use an upgrade.

This hotel was great value for money, with lovely attention to detail. We were delighted to be given a bottle of bubbly upon arrival and balloons for my husband's birthday. We also enjoyed the fresh pastries at breakfast, which came with a glass of wine or champagne included.

I loved how welcoming this inn was. The complimentary champagne in my room was a pleasant surprise, the lavender-scented toiletries were fabulous, and the pool was the perfect place to relax after a busy day exploring Santa Barbara. The daily happy hour with wine and cheese was such a nice touch, and the cookies and milk before bed were a treat. I would definitely recommend this hotel for a lovely getaway.

Can honestly say there wasn't anything not to like.

The hotel was very clean and had comfortable rooms. The bathroom was particularly nice, with a great shower. The location was fantastic, as it was close to the main attractions of this city, including the beach. It was also within a 5-minute walk down a main road to reach the seafront. We could easily get to the city center in 10-15 minutes, which was very convenient. The staff were friendly and accommodating.

The basic amenities provided in the rooms were satisfactory, especially the spacious king bed with no table, which allowed for more room to relax. Additionally, the breakfast included champagne and wine options, along with a variety of lovely fresh pastries to choose from.
