The Carmel Garden Inn provided excellent value for money with a spacious and clean room. The location was ideal, within walking distance to downtown Carmel, and the staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay.

Hotel breakfast could be improved by providing more seating options in the room for guests who prefer to take their breakfast back to their rooms.

The location of the inn was perfect as it was situated on 4th Avenue, right in the center of town and within walking distance to various shops, restaurants, and the beach. The rooms were cozy, clean, and comfortable, with amenities such as a small kitchen area, microwave. The staff was friendly and helpful, providing local information and even assisting with borrowing a fan. The breakfast offered a variety of options including fruit, toast, boiled eggs, yogurt, cereal.

Some guests mentioned that the bed in their room was too soft, which might not suit everyone's preference.

We were greeted by a charming garden that led us to our cozy room with a private patio. the attention to detail in the decor and the well-kept plants made the atmosphere so cute and inviting. We especially loved the fireplace, which added a wonderful ambiance to the room. Plus, the location was perfect, being close to all the attractions in Carmel. the price was also very reasonable. the overall experience was truly memorable and I highly recommend Carmel Garden Inn for a cozy and charming stay.

Loved the breakfast with "secret recipe" granola, such a treat! The scenic drive was breathtaking, like navigating a maze of golf courses and mansions. The wood burning fireplaces in the rooms were cozy, but thankfully I didn't have to chop the wood myself.

Just wish they had included a DIY fireplace kit in the room, for the full rustic experience.

The staff was helpful and friendly, wine and cheese happy hour, homemade breakfast, great recommendations, cozy rooms with fireplace.

the room had a small kitchenette with a microwave and refrigerator. I loved the cozy enclosed garden patio where I could enjoy my lunches. the complimentary breakfast was delicious, offering a hot entree, toast, cereal, fruit, juices. the location was convenient, within walking distance of Ocean Ave and the shopping area. the staff at Carmel Garden Inn were friendly and made me feel at home, ensuring I had everything I needed.

The garden at Carmel Garden Inn was absolutely stunning and provided a beautiful setting for relaxation. The rooms were charming and the staff during our arrival was extremely friendly and helpful. We appreciated the complimentary wine and cheese in the garden, it was a lovely touch. Plus, the hotel's location was perfect for exploring the area.

One issue we encountered was the difficulty finding our room upon arrival, as there were no lights and the map provided was not very helpful. However, despite these minor drawbacks, we still enjoyed our stay.

The private patio and kitchenette were a nice addition to the room. The bed was very comfortable for a good night's sleep. The Inn's location was convenient, just a short walk to the heart of the town and the oceanfront.

There were a few issues during my stay. The cleanliness of the room was subpar, with hairs on the bathroom floor.
