Enjoyable stay despite some issues

The outdoor courtyard at Lemon Tree Inn is a true gem, perfect for relaxing and enjoying the fresh air. The restaurant offers delicious food, making dining convenient. I encountered cleanliness and maintenance issues that detracted from an otherwise pleasant visit.

Optimal selection for a couple of nights in Santa Barbara with all in all brilliant value for money. Comfortable beds.

Room felt outdated and lacked basic amenities like a fridge. The pool area was nice for relaxing after a long day. Happy hour had great deals on cocktails, which we enjoyed.

The tropical grounds were stunning, with palms enhancing the pool area that made for a relaxing vibe. Enjoyed drinks at the bar, and the on-site restaurant surprised us with excellent food. The staff was exceptional, always eager to help. the room didn’t quite match expectations—outdated and cramped, with cleanliness issues that caught me off guard. A miscommunication about early check-in added to the mix, making me feel a bit frustrated. Still, the pleasant atmosphere and friendly service gave it a redeeming quality. Would consider a return, but with more caution next time.

I had the worst experience with our room—the carpet was soaked, and it reeked! We had to move late at night, and the new room had mosquitos biting us all night. Super frustrating when all you want is a good night's sleep.

The hotel is ideally placed just a quick stroll to breathtaking spots like the Mission Rose Garden, which is about 1.3 km away, and the historic Old Mission Santa Barbara, just a bit farther at almost 1.5 km, making it a dream for anyone who loves to wander around the city and admire its landmarks; plus, the spacious rooms and lovely patio made our family trip delightful, allowing us to relax together while enjoying the beautiful weather out there, though it's worth noting that the bathroom cleanliness could use some attention for a bit of extra comfort.

The room was spacious, but the furnishings felt outdated. The bed sagged and was uncomfortable. Temperature control was adequate, but noise from outside could be heard at times. Entering the room, I noticed faded decorative pillows and a blanket that didn't seem clean. The tub jets had mildew, hinting at neglect. Although the staff were exceptional, with friendly faces and attentive service, the overall room experience didn’t match the pleasant atmosphere elsewhere. Quick improvements could transform the stay, making it more appealing. The pool area looked inviting, though I didn’t have the chance to enjoy it.

The pool area was stunning, with a huge pool and spacious deck, and being close to shops and eateries made it super convenient. I loved chilling by the pool and hanging out in the beautiful courtyard during the evening. However, only having one washcloth in the bathroom was a bit inconvenient, but overall it didn't affect my awesome stay 😊.

The hotel is nestled in a convenient location with friendly staff. The room was spacious, and the pool area was enjoyable. The onsite restaurant offered delicious food. Although some minor noise issues, it's a great pick for a stay without breaking the bank.

Exceptional staff. Waiters were attentive, and the entire team went above and beyond. The Crocodile Cafe offered genuinely good food—far better than typical hotel fare. The grounds were beautiful; fragrant jasmine and lemon trees created a lovely atmosphere. Comfortable beds, though a few more pillows would have been nice. The cleanliness of the nooks could improve, and the bathroom needs an upgrade. Room change was offered, but issues persisted in the alternate room. Minor inconveniences noted, such as missing a towel. Despite flaws, this experience was positive. Recommend if you can accept some areas for improvement.
