Spencer suite was so lekker, spacious and clean. The brekkie was a total winner, delicious and beautifully presented. And oh man, Steve shared some fascinating history about the house and the area—felt like a real kuier with family!

Only downside was we had the place to ourselves, so missed out on a bit of that social vibe with other guests.

Ayo, the hospitality here was on point! Eileen gave us a warm welcome and shared some dope history about the place. Breakfast was fire—homemade pancakes and scrumptious sausage. Relaxing on the porch with my morning coffee was pure bliss. Definitely gonna miss those chocolate chip cookies!

I enjoyed my stay in the Queen Room. The breakfast was exceptional—well balanced, beautifully presented, and delicious. The hosts are very hospitable, sharing fascinating stories about the house’s history. It was peaceful with well-manicured grounds. The decor reflected both history and personal collections. 😊

the bathroom was adequate, but the sink area was just sad, not to mention the bed was absolutely tiny and uncomfortable. i woudl ve been expecting a welcome gift for my trouble, but no, just more disappointments. i almost gave a good review, but the peeling paint and squeaky floors ruined it for me.

lightner farmhouse b&b is a gem! it’s just a short drive down taneytown road to avoid the bustling downtown. the quiet surroundings make for a peaceful stay. breakfast was outstanding, especially the pancakes—light and scrumptious! plus, the hosts are incredibly welcoming and love sharing stories about the farmhouse's history.

the room was cramped with little room for my luggage, but I suppose one must take charm over comfort. the breakfast was just okay, certainly not worthy of applause considering the substantial hype. and after all that discomfort, I expected at least a complimentary gift, but I guess they were too busy to appreciate my presence. almost gave a good review, but just couldn’t.

The unique themed rooms add a fascinating twist, with decor celebrating significant figures from a notable battle. Cozy, well-maintained grounds offer a serene vibe, perfect for unwinding by the fire pit in the back.

Unfortunately, the bathroom could use a bit of TLC. it wasn't exactly the highlight of the stay. The creaky floors were charming but disruptive, especially for those who are light sleepers. Plus, the bed felt cramped and could have been more comfortable.

I loved the filling breakfasts prepared by Jason, especially the fresh fruits and delicious hot meals! The ambiance was so cozy, but the bathroom could use a little updating. Would definitely return!
