I had the most amazing stay at a charming cottage in a beautiful garden. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the room had a serene and zen-like decor. The breakfast each morning was absolutely delicious, with a variety of fresh fruit and pastries. The hotel facilities were top-notch, including a lovely outdoor hot tub. The location was perfect for exploring the nearby Volcanoes National Park and enjoying evening walks in this picturesque city.

Our stay at Lotus Garden Cottages was truly a tranquil retreat. We loved being just minutes away from the incredible Volcano National Park and having easy access to explore the eastern side of Hawai'i. The location was perfect for us to visit Hilo and the Mauna Kea Observatory's Visitor Information Center as well. The breakfasts provided were hearty and delicious, fueling us for our long days of adventure. The room we stayed in, Hula Moon, was cozy and comfortable with a gas fireplace to keep us warm. We really appreciated the peaceful and relaxing atmosphere of the cottages surrounded by the beautiful rainforest.

The Lotus Garden Cottages in Volcano offers a fantastic location near the entry of the Volcano Park. The owner has done an excellent job building the cottages within a green and lush environment. The Asian Lotus style is simply awesome. The rooms are spacious and overlook a well-maintained rainforest garden. The host is friendly and provides a great breakfast delivered to your door, making it a perfect retreat to enjoy the surrounding area.

The road back to the hotel at night was quite dangerous, with limited lighting and winding paths. It was difficult to navigate and required a lot of attention.
