the location was perfect - right by the Bridge of Lions. I loved being able to walk across and explore the city's attractions and restaurants. And the view from my room was absolutely stunning! Waking up to the sight of St Augustine from my balcony was a highlight of my trip. Secondly, the staff were exceptionally friendly and went above and beyond to ensure I had a great stay. They were always eager to help and provide recommendations. Lastly, the breakfast served in the quaint dining room overlooking the water was simply delightful. The food was delicious and the beautiful view made it even more enjoyable.

The location of this hotel was fantastic, just a short walk away from all the shops, restaurants, and attractions. the view from our room was beautiful, overlooking the water and the bridge. the breakfast provided was a pleasant surprise, with made-to-order items served at our table. the staff was friendly and helpful, making our stay enjoyable.

The hotel felt more like a renovated motel, which was a bit disappointing. the balcony overlooking the marina was not very usable due to the low tide and unpleasant smell.

Our trip to St. Augustine was amazing. The check-in process at Marker 8 was quick and the staff was very friendly. We left our car at the hotel and explored the area by walking everywhere. The walk to the old jail was the longest and took us about 35 minutes, but it was worth it for the beautiful views. The room was clean and well maintained, and we loved the private balcony. The hotel also had a small pool and a firepit, perfect for relaxing in the evenings. The included breakfast was delicious and exceeded our expectations. our stay at Marker 8 was fantastic and we would definitely recommend it.

I had a fantastic stay at this hotel! The location next to the lovely bridge and within walking distance of several great restaurants was a major plus. The staff were amazing and very helpful, especially John who went the extra mile to ensure a pleasant stay. The complimentary breakfast served in the Captain's Table dining room was delicious and the view from the patio was amazing. The hotel facilities were top-notch, the room was clean and recently updated, and the bed was super comfortable.
