The hostel offered a spacious and comfortable common area, complete with a pool table and a well-equipped kitchen. The rooftop was a great spot to relax and enjoy the warm weather. I also appreciated the free earplugs and wifi provided by the hostel, making my stay even more convenient.

The noise from the busy road nearby was quite bothersome, especially at night. The bathrooms could use some improvement, as they were not as clean as I would have liked.

I stayed at the Melrose hostel for 3 nights during my trip to LA. The location of the hostel is perfect, with bus stops right outside that can take you anywhere you need to go. The staff was extremely friendly and accommodating, making me feel welcome throughout my stay. The cleanliness of the hostel was impressive, especially considering the number of guests. I also loved the rooftop area with its great views and spaciousness, providing a nice escape from the hustle and bustle downstairs. The unique bathrooms were always available and well stocked, and the breakfast offered a variety of fresh fruits and breads. it was a great place to stay with everything I needed.

We had a pleasant stay at a budget-friendly hostel in a great location. The nearby Metro station made it convenient to explore the city and the bus stop right outside the hostel was a plus. The manager and staff were friendly and the facility was clean. The continental breakfast had a good variety of choices, and the rooftop patio provided a nice view. The comfortable beds and personal lamps added to the room's advantages.
