We stumbled upon Northern Lights Lodge during a last-minute stopover and were pleasantly surprised. The innkeepers were accommodating, allowing us to check in early at no extra charge. The room was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed. The white linens and sparkling bathroom added to our comfort. The innkeeper even provided us with a helpful town map. The common areas, including the indoor pool and game room, were well-maintained. The included breakfast was fresh and there was even a snack bar for later. a great value for a rustic lodge with wonderful amenities.

Breakfast was amazing with a delicious variety of hot items like French toast, eggs, and sausage links. the location was perfect, right in the middle of the city with easy access to restaurants and the bike path. the hotel had beautiful grounds with gardens and a lovely outdoor patio.

The air conditioner in the room was extremely loud, making it difficult to sleep. Also, the bathroom was lacking tissues, which was inconvenient.

This hotel has it all: great value for money, lovely location by the river, and rooms with updated bathrooms and amazing fireplaces. The staff is very attentive and helpful, even offering home made pastries for breakfast. Plus, there are board games for guests to enjoy.

I had a fantastic stay at this hotel. The room was spacious and comfortable, with a lovely Swiss Chalet style decor. The hotel had a fun and cosy alpine vibe throughout. The indoor pool, hot tub, and sauna were fantastic amenities to enjoy after a day of exploring the beautiful trails and leaf peeping spots nearby. The breakfast was absolutely delicious, with scrambled eggs, sausages, fried bread, and homemade scones. The staff was friendly and helpful, providing information about hiking trails and ensuring the breakfast was well-stocked. The hotel also offered a great deal for the area, providing affordable accommodation in this lovely location by the rushing brook, close to all the attractions in the area.

I had a wonderful stay at a charming lodge in a beautiful setting. The owners and employees were incredibly friendly and kept the lodge impeccably clean. The breakfast was delicious and the location was perfect, with a scenic walk/bike path to explore the town. The comfortable bed and relaxing hot tub were the icing on the cake. I highly recommend this hotel.

Although generally clean, our room had a slight odor that could have been aired out better. the bed was a bit too firm for my liking and led to some discomfort during the night.

I absolutely loved the hot breakfast, with eggs, gluten-free sausages, and a wide variety of tasty options. And let's not forget the delicious home-baked cookies and hot cider in the lobby throughout the day. The entire staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. The hotel's location was also ideal, just a short drive away from the Stowe ski resort. I couldn't have asked for a better hotel experience. I highly recommend visiting the new brewery and restaurant in Trapp Lodge as well. The food may take a little longer, but it's definitely worth the wait.

The pool and hot tub were clean and relaxing. Although the efficiency room could use some updating, it comfortably slept two and had all the necessities. we highly recommend Northern Lights Lodge.
