We had an amazing stay at this B&B. The mansion has been beautifully renovated by a very nice and enthusiastic host. The grounds were stunning and well-maintained. The breakfast provided was delicious and diverse. The staff was friendly and attentive. The location is close enough to Saratoga Springs and the Saratoga Historical Park, where one of the most significant battles in history took place.

I recently stayed at Oakcliff in Halfmoon for a weekend getaway with a friend. The owner, John, was not only a wonderful host but also an incredible cook. We loved chatting with him about the history of the property and his impressive antique collection, which was beautifully displayed throughout the house. The room and bathroom were cozy and comfortable, with a stunning view of the river. It felt like stepping into a museum but with the bonus of being able to touch and use everything. Despite being the only guests that night, John made sure we were well taken care of and even provided a generous gift card for breakfast at a local restaurant. The area was quiet, historic, and offered a lovely view from the back porch.

Fantastic detail! The restoration of the hotel was incredible, truly giving a sense of living in the past. The attention to detail was impeccable, from the cleanliness to the personalized french press coffee at breakfast. The hotel also offered a beautiful view of the lake behind the property, adding to the serene atmosphere.

While the historic charm of the hotel was impressive, it did feel more like a museum than a private hotel. This made me hesitant to touch anything, as if I was afraid to disturb the delicate atmosphere.
