I enjoyed my stay and loved the view. It was a short walk to the beach. I found the local pier a great spot for fishing, even without a boat. The sunrise and sunset were beautiful. Breakfast was okay but could use more fresh options. My experience felt peaceful overall. I appreciated that. I am an art historian, and the simple comforts added to the enjoyment of my visit.

Consider requesting a room on a higher floor for quieter mornings and better views. The indoor pool was particularly enjoyable for families.

I encountered several issues during my stay at Ocean Isle Inn. First, I requested an oceanfront room and an early check-in, but neither was granted, which was disappointing especially since I was there for my wedding. Additionally, noise complaints were made about my room, despite it being a family gathering with my elderly mother and young relatives, which felt unnecessary and intrusive.

the loud hallway doors were annoying (especially at night). but the ocean view was spectacular, and the indoor pool was really nice. loved the helpful staff and the clean room with lots of hot water.
