The rooms had ample storage with chest of drawers and a large closet, perfect for longer stays. The location was great, just across the road from the beach and not far from the pier. The decor and cleanliness of the rooms were top-notch. I also enjoyed the complimentary coffee and cookies in the reception area. my experience at the Ocean Lodge Santa Monica Beach Hotel was fantastic and I would definitely recommend it.

Despite the separate rooms, the staff was helpful during check-in and check-out.

Despite some noise from the street, the hotel offered separate rooms, almost like apartments, which added to the sense of privacy and comfort. it was a value-for-money option in Santa Monica, with prices that were more reasonable compared to other nearby hotels. The only aspect that could be improved upon was the breakfast, which was a bit spartan. Nevertheless, it didn't detract from the overall positive experience at this hotel.

the location was absolutely perfect - just a short walk to both the beach and the mall, and there was even a park right next to it. It truly made my trip to Santa Monica extra enjoyable. Secondly, the rooms were great - I stayed in a room with a partial view of the ocean and it was so lovely waking up to that every morning. Lastly, the staff were friendly and accommodating, making sure that everything was taken care of. All in all, this hotel provided excellent value for the price.

The only minor issue I encountered was that the parking was a bit tight and there was an additional charge for it. However, this was just a small inconvenience in an otherwise fantastic stay.

With two older boys, it was great to have a room with two doubles and a separate single bed. The hotel was functional and well-maintained, with helpful and efficient staff. It was conveniently located, just a block away from Tongva Park and the pier. The room felt clean and comfortable, with a spacious bed and a big shower. We also appreciated the amenities like the ice machine, fridge, and safe. The hotel felt safe with gated entrances to the upper floors.
