We had a great value for our money at the Palace Hotel. The room was spacious, clean, and the bathroom setup was easy to use. The staff were very friendly and helpful, from the front desk to the cleaning staff to the restaurant staff. Great location in the center of the city.

During our stay in the Bay Area, we had the pleasure of experiencing a luxury hotel with a long history of fine service and amenities. The location was ideal, only a short walk down to the ballpark and close to the bay. The common areas were beautiful and well-maintained, providing a wonderful atmosphere for relaxation. Our room was spacious and comfortable, with a clean bathroom and quality service. The breakfast options were delicious, and the view was breathtaking. We were impressed by the facilities offered to guests, including a pool and hot tub, and various restaurant options.

The one downside to our stay was the lack of quick response to a request for an additional bathrobe.

I was thrilled to find automated toilet seats with built-in bidets in my room at Palace Hotel, it was a luxurious surprise. Despite a slight glitch with the toilet seats, my bed was incredibly comfortable, and the location was great. I would recommend this hotel.

We loved this place for our business trip! It's in a quiet financial district, but within easy reach of the BART station. The service couldn't have been better with room service, 24-hour housekeeping, grocery shopping, tours, doctor on call, and more. The staff was amazing and welcomed us with drinks upon arrival. Our room was spacious, well-appointed, and had lots of amenities, even a turndown service. The dining was excellent, and entertainment options were available too. The leisure facilities were a great way to unwind, including a pool, solarium, and massages.

The Palace Hotel is an absolute gem, providing a perfect homebase for exploring the city. The lobby is exquisite and the rooms are beautifully designed with high ceilings and elegant bathrooms. The bedding is luxuriously soft, making for a comfortable night's sleep. The location is ideal for shopping and visiting popular attractions like Union Square, Fisherman's Wharf, and the Financial District. The hotel has a nice fitness area and a lovely pool for guests to enjoy.

The Palace Hotel offers opulent decor, a comfortable bed, superb location, and amazing value. The amenities, such as chilled towels and fruit, add a luxurious touch. The excellent service from the staff, including the concierge, made our stay memorable. The food exceeded our expectations.

The location of this hotel is absolutely fantastic. We were able to walk everywhere and explore the sights of the city with ease. The hotel itself is quite impressive, with a stunning hall and eating area that make a grand first impression. The gym facilities are brilliant, and we thoroughly enjoyed our workouts during our stay. The concierge staff were also incredibly helpful and provided great recommendations for restaurants and activities.

There were a few drawbacks to our stay. Firstly, the indoor pool was consistently cold, making it unpleasant to swim in. We had to resort to using the jacuzzi instead. Many other guests also complained about the temperature, and we made sure to report it to the reception. Additionally, there was no room service available, not even for a simple coffee, which was disappointing. The check-in staff were robotic and unfriendly, and the restaurant advice from the concierge was terrible. The hotel also lacked lunch options, and the overall experience fell short of a five-star stay. The room itself was unimpressive, with no ability to open the window even a crack.

The facilities were nice and the location was great for accessing major sights. We received two complementary drinks upon arrival and a free shuttle to the airport.

The noise level was unbearable at night, making it difficult to sleep. Also, the staff seemed to cater more to business groups than leisure travelers, resulting in crowded public areas and increased room rates during peak business events.

Celebrated my B'Day with my family. Chose this hotel because of past dining experience and loved the old-time glamour. Comfortable and spacious rooms, unlike some other Starwoods properties. Underpriced with a beautiful painting in the bar. Perfect location for shopping and exploring nearby attractions. Very comfortable bed, large room, and bathroom. Nicely updated with an air of bygone elegance. We would highly recommend The Palace!
