It really felt like stepping back in time. the breakfast served was absolutely delicious and the innkeeper was friendly and accommodating. the location was very convenient, with easy access to the downtown area and also close to the beach.

The house could use some maintenance and restoration work, as some areas looked a bit run-down. Additionally, being located on a busy street meant there was some street noise in the mornings, which could be bothersome for light sleepers.

We were pleasantly surprised by the personal touches at this B&B. the envelope with our names on it, containing the keys and Wi-Fi password, made check-in easy. the cozy and comfortable atmosphere of the house, complete with soft music in the parlor, made us feel right at home. We especially enjoyed the variety of snacks and drinks available, including soda, cookies, and cereal. the innkeeper, Barbee, was friendly and accommodating, even inquiring about our food preferences for breakfast.

Although there were many positives, there were a couple of downsides to our stay. the furniture in the common areas seemed worn and badly recovered, which made us hesitant to sit on it.

The communication between the hotel and the internet reservation company can be confusing, as was the case with my reservation.
