the driveway is an absolute disaster, narrow enough to scratch my car, and they were less than helpful about fixing it. breakfast was almost nonexistent, leaving me hungry. after such an experience, you'd think a complimentary gesture would be offered, but no. i almost felt like giving a good review, but just couldn't.

The bed and breakfast is just over a 10-minute walk to the historic district, and nearby, I discovered charming spots like Five Sisters Blues Cafe, which was a delicious treat for lunch, making my stroll through the city even more enjoyable. the morning breakfast was also fantastic, giving me a chance to chat with fellow guests while enjoying a delightful homemade meal.

My daughter and I were absolutely taken with the gorgeous house! The stunning original wood staircase and flooring were like stepping back in time. Plus, the bed was super comfy for our two-night stay!

On the flip side, the bathroom door handle fell off and the hot water ran out, which made things a bit tricky.

Barbee is the sweetest! Felt like I was visiting a chommie with her warm welcome and those yummy brekkies. The house has such character — like stepping into your gran's place with all the delightful antiques! I could’ve sat on that porch for hours just relaxing and enjoying a good book.

Only thing was, the room was a bit tight for my three suitcases. Made packing a bit of a mission!

Noise levels from traffic and nearby trains can disrupt sleep quality!!! Bathrooms are outdated with slow-draining tubs!!! The property needs better maintenance, including peeling paint and dusty corners!!! The Wi-Fi connection is unstable!!!

This place suits me perfectly, providing free parking, reliable wi-fi, and air conditioning. During my first stay, the friendly staff helped me find a valuable lost item. I highly recommend it! I'm coming back for a holiday.

Staying here with my family, including our little one, was a delightful experience. The charming decor and cozy atmosphere made us feel right at home. Plus, the breakfasts were truly a highlight, bringing us together for delicious homemade meals each morning.

My kids wished for more kid-friendly activities on site.
