Exceptional property, exceptional staff with beautifully clean rooms that impressed me as a former hotel employee and a friendly atmosphere that made us feel at home during our stay.

The rooms were spacious and clean, impressively maintained for a family stay. Temperature control was efficient, keeping the space comfortable. the bed choice I requested was not available, necessitating an air mattress. The kitchenette offered limited options without a stove or functional freezer, which hindered meal prep. We encountered an ice maker issue, producing dirty ice, leading to a child's illness. While the indoor heated pool was appealing, it was disappointingly cold due to a broken heater. Noise from the washer was disruptive at night. The amenities for kids were enjoyable, but the cleanliness could still improve in some areas.

The family-friendly activities were a blast! We loved the separate kiddy pool, perfect for our little ones. The outdoor pool and hot tub were the cherry on top of a fantastic stay!

A great base for exploring beautiful nearby beaches and attractions

The resort is centrally situated, making it really easy to enjoy the nearby beaches like Surfside, which is only about 2 miles away, and even the famous Myrtle Beach is just a short drive away, plus many restaurants and attractions such as the Fun Warehouse and Hudson's Surfside Flea Market are just around the corner; the staff is friendly and helpful, and I loved the outdoor pool and hot tub, but the cleanliness of the rooms could use some improvement.

The room had potential. I arrived at 7 PM to a wet floor—quite hazardous. Check-in staff wasted time with lengthy pitches on timeshares. Rude surprise on my last day when housekeeping barged in at 9:50 AM.Amenities were decent. The bed was comfortably welcoming, and the outdoor pool was slightly heated. the ice maker needed maintenance, and I faced difficulties reaching staff for simple requests. The property has diminished in cleanliness since my last visit. The hot tub was cold, cascading my frustration. Improvements are necessary to regain previous standards.

The bedroom and kitchen furniture felt outdated, and the small pool was a disappointment. To top it off, we woke up to flooding in the kitchen and kids' room, leading to a frustrating interaction with staff who couldn't find us a new room. The upgrade to a presidential unit helped, but the initial experience was rough. The kids enjoyed the outdoor pool, though. Staff seemed friendly, yet overwhelmed. The shuttles to the beach were a nice touch, but it left us longing for more.

The location was perfect, just a couple of miles to the beach. Staff was nice and helped us with a noisy neighbor. Our first-floor room was spacious with a microwave, fridge, and washer and dryer. The indoor heated pool was great for the kids, and there were tons of amenities like a lazy river and a fitness center. Very clean and comfortable.

Feeling like at home with all amenities, like a vacationer's paradise designed by all famous golf course designers. Family time is magic, enjoying lazy rivers, Tanger Outlets shopping, and the beautiful Grand Strand beach. It's like a dream come true!

We were tricked into a 4-hour timeshare pitch instead of the promised 90 minutes, and then a staff member barged into our room without knocking. Totally unsettling and disrespectful! Never again!

The big outdoor pool was amazing for my kids, they had an absolute blast.

The Grand Palms fell short in decor and maintenance. I was disappointed by the small, outdated rooms, moldy shower curtain, and rusty door chain. Lack of cleanliness and misleading website photos added to my dismay. However, the jacuzzi was a highlight, and the location was convenient. Overall, a mixed experience.

Although the rental unit had some issues, Ms. Lorinee's assistance and the pools were highlights. The property had some shortcomings, but the outside pool was enjoyable. I hope to see improvements for future visits.
