During my short stay at the Rockaway Hotel in New York, I appreciated the conveniently close proximity to Beach 105 Street / Rockaway Freeway, making it easily accessible for a quick stopover while in transit. the hotel's location just 25 km from John F. Kennedy International Airport provided a seamless travel experience for me.

One minor inconvenience I encountered was the lack of complimentary water in the bedroom upon late arrival, as it is usually standard in most hotels.

Beautifully decorated lobby and spa, with a comforting and relaxing feel. Friendly and welcoming staff throughout, from reception to restaurant. Great coffee and drinks, with a good variety on offer. Quiet hotel with lovely ocean views. Will definitely book again!

The hotel is pet-friendly, walking distance to the beach, helpful staff, cool and festive lobby, modern and clean, comfortable bed.

Can honestly say there wasn't anything not to like.

Overall a decent experience during Xmas. the bed was comfortable and the shower was good. It was nice to have complimentary tea/coffee and iced water in the lobby. the hotel was located close to the ferry which was convenient for getting around.

The room was small and lacked basic amenities such as a fridge or closet. the noise level was high due to a pub across the street, and multiple events and a nearby school.

My recent stay at the beachfront hotel exceeded all expectations. The ocean view from my room was absolutely breathtaking, creating the perfect backdrop for a tranquil getaway. The staff at the hotel truly went above and beyond to ensure that my stay was memorable and enjoyable. The lobby had a cool and festive atmosphere, adding to the overall vibe of the place. Additionally, I loved that the hotel was pet-friendly, allowing me to bring my furry friend along for the trip. The proximity to the beach was a major plus, making it easy for me to take leisurely walks along the shore.

Quick and convenient ferry access from Manhattan, beach chairs and umbrella provided, lively restaurants, modern decor, beautiful ocean view from room, excellent rooftop bar.

I had such a great time at this luxurious hotel! The location was amazing, just down the stairs into the Lobby area. The staff was friendly and always willing to help me out with anything I needed. The room service was top-notch and the housekeeping was always spot on. I also really appreciated the welcome drink upon arrival and the terrace with garden furniture was a lovely touch.

I definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a top-notch hotel experience.

Stepping down the stairs into the Lobby area, we were greeted with a modern and fresh atmosphere. The complimentary tea and coffee in the lobby were a nice touch, providing a welcoming start to the day. The beds in the rooms were incredibly comfortable, allowing us to get a good night's sleep after a busy day exploring the city. The outdoor saunas and pool were a great way to unwind and relax.
