We had a great stay at a historical place in Port Isabel. The rooms were spacious with a separate bedroom and a nice LED TV. The location was ideal, close to HEB, restaurants, Walmart, and Walgreens. The manager, Gracy, was very helpful.

The only drawback was that the hotel was small and a bit dated.

The suite had a queen bed and a sofa bed. The kitchen had a full-sized fridge, sink, and microwave. It lacked cooking utensils but had empty cabinets and drawers. The one bedroom had a clean bathroom and a closet. The location was great for saving money on food, with everything within a half mile.

The hotel's location close to all stores and amenities was incredibly convenient. I loved being able to walk to restaurants, grocery stores, and gas stations. Plus, the beach was just a short distance away. The hotel facilities were great, with clean and spacious rooms equipped with useful appliances like a full-size refrigerator, stove, and table. The staff and owners were very friendly and welcoming. They got us set up in a room quickly, even though we booked last minute. The pool area was clean and enjoyable, and I even got a good nap and tan there. The bed was one of the comfiest I've slept on, and the bathroom was immaculate.

Welcoming Renovations

I recently stayed at a motel in Port Isabel that seemed to have new owners and was undergoing renovations. It was clear that they were putting in efforts to revitalize the place and make it better than before. Despite the chilly weather, the unit I stayed in had excellent heating, and it even had a kitchenette where I could cook dinner. The cleanliness and quietness of the unit were impressive, and I particularly appreciated that I had a corner unit with no shared walls, ensuring a peaceful stay. Despite minor details like the mismatched couch, the bed was great, and overall, I would definitely consider staying there again.
