The location was perfect for exploring the neighborhood on foot, with a Trader Joe's and great restaurants just steps away. The shared bathrooms were always clean and we never had to wait to use them. The breakfast room had all the essentials and the on-site manager, Tim, was incredibly helpful and accommodating. The old Victorian house was charming and well-maintained, and our room was spacious and comfortable.

Parking was a bit of a challenge, but it was worth it for the overall value and experience.

I recently stayed at the International Guesthouse and had a fantastic experience. The location was perfect, allowing me to easily explore the Pearl district and downtown Portland. The staff was extremely helpful, providing clear instructions for my late arrival and ensuring a smooth check-in process. The interior of the guesthouse was beautifully decorated and well maintained. Although there were some minor inconveniences like street noise and a slight dust triggering my allergies, overall I had a great stay. I highly recommend this gem of a guesthouse and will definitely be back.

The room was incredibly clean and cozy, making us feel right at home. We appreciated the attention to detail and the effort put into ensuring guest comfort. It was a relief to have friendly and helpful staff, like Tim, who went out of their way to assist us with our needs. The location of the guesthouse was perfect, with beautiful surroundings and convenient access to Trader Joe's, Powell's Books, and downtown. There were also plenty of great dining options nearby. We were pleasantly surprised that we didn't even need to use our car thanks to the street parking pass provided.

The size of the room was a bit disappointing, and we would have preferred a table or workspace. Additionally, we experienced some discomfort due to the lack of air conditioning in our room.

Great value for the price. the property is conveniently located near a Trader Joe's and several restaurants and cafes. the neighborhood is vibrant and offers multiple transportation options. the rooms are spacious and the shared bathrooms are always clean. Additionally, the kitchen facilities and access to a refrigerator were a nice bonus.

There were a few drawbacks to our stay. there was a strange and unpleasant smell in one of the rooms that took some time to get used to.
