The location was excellent, as it was walking distance to Patriot Park, the Ravenel Bridge, and Shem Creek. This made it easy for me to enjoy reasonably priced meals and attend events in Charleston without paying expensive downtown prices. Additionally, the hotel was in close proximity to all the Maritime museums and just a short drive to the beach. The staff was friendly and attentive, ensuring that my stay was comfortable. The rooms were clean, spacious, and provided a comfortable home base for my visit. I also enjoyed the breakfast, which had a variety of options including freshly baked items, and the lady in charge of the breakfast service was fantastic.

All in all, my experience at this hotel was great and I had no complaints.

The hotel's location near the USS Yorktown and just a few miles from the French Quarter was convenient. We also appreciated the complimentary coffee and fresh baked cookies throughout the day. Lastly, as a runner, I loved being able to jog across the Arthur Ravenel Bridge into Charleston, enjoying the breathtaking views and refreshing breeze.

The high price we had to pay during the Christmas period, which was more than we would normally expect for this type of hotel. the internet connection in our room was very weak and unstable, which was frustrating as we had to go to the lobby for a better connection most of the time.
