During my Christmas stay, there were a couple of things that I really enjoyed about this hotel. the breakfast was outstanding. I had a variety of food options to choose from, and the fact that they served on real plates instead of paper plates was a nice touch. Secondly, the location of the hotel was great. It was conveniently located near the beach, which was wonderful for taking walks and enjoying the coastal scenery. Additionally, having a kitchen in the room was a major advantage, allowing me to prepare meals and snacks whenever I wanted.

There were some aspects of my stay that I didn't particularly like. the staff seemed to lack proper training, especially the lady at the front desk.

Convenient location near IOP beach, highways, and shopping. Helpful staff assisted with baby needs. Spacious, clean rooms with kitchen. Good breakfast options, though limited for food allergies. No problems reported by other members of the party.

The staff went above and beyond to accommodate our late check-out when I fell ill. The spacious one-bedroom suite was perfect for us and our two dogs. We were impressed by the cleanliness and comfortable bed. The location was great, with nearby restaurants and supermarkets. I highly recommend this hotel for a great getaway with your pups!

The staff here are amazing and went above and beyond our expectations. "Sonny" at the front desk was kind and thoughtful, upgrading us to a bigger suite. The suite itself was huge, very clean, and well appointed. The hotel facilities were great, with excellent coffee available throughout the day. The buffet breakfast had a wide variety of delicious food to suit everyone's taste. The location was perfect for visiting our granddaughter at the College of Charleston, and also close to the beach, which was wonderful. Having a kitchen in the suite was a great convenience.

My stay at Residence Inn in Charleston was absolutely wonderful. I was visiting the area to see my granddaughter at the College of Charleston and the location of the hotel was perfect. Not only was it close to the beach, but having a kitchen in the suite was incredibly convenient. The staff at the hotel were amazing, particularly Sonny who checked us in. He upgraded us to a bigger suite and was so kind and thoughtful throughout our stay. The suite itself was huge, clean, and well-appointed, and the bed and linens were extremely comfortable. The buffet breakfast had a wide variety of delicious food, although it would have been helpful to have more options for people with food allergies. I had a fantastic experience and will definitely stay at Residence Inn again.

The hotel is located near the beach, which is great for beachgoers. the hotel staff is helpful and friendly. the variety of food offered during breakfast is good and served on real plates.

The location of the hotel is ideal, as it is only 8 miles from Sullivan's Island/Isle of Palms, making it a more affordable option than staying in downtown Charleston or right on the beach. The hotel offers bigger rooms, perfect for families traveling with kids. The front desk staff is helpful and pleasant, providing extra sheets upon request and assisting with finding additional coffee cups.

The breakfast situation was inadequate, with a lack of staff and limited options such as microwaveable sausage biscuits and gogurt packs.

The hotel is in great shape with a smell of new carpeting. the staff, particularly Amy and the breakfast staff, were very accommodating. the breakfast was quite good. the hotel is located adjacent to a large plaza with plenty of shopping and eating options. the location is perfect for family trips and easy access to major highways.

The traffic to get in and out of the hotel can be crazy at times. the room proximity to the road can be inconvenient with sirens waking you up at night.

The hotel offers great value for money with its affordable prices and attention to detail. The location of the hotel, just a short drive north of Charleston, ensures a clean and easy in/out experience. The staff at the hotel are friendly and provide excellent service, making guests feel welcome and well taken care of. The basic amenities provided in the comfortable rooms, along with the Tuesday night "cookout," add to the overall positive experience.

No major issues.

I had a great stay at this hotel. The staff was extremely friendly and accommodating, especially Brianna, Sonny, and Ashley. They were patient with my constantly-changing arrival and departure dates, which made my stay much more enjoyable. The location of the hotel was perfect for visiting the nearby Isle of Palms beach and easily accessing major highways. Additionally, there were shopping and restaurant options within walking distance, making it convenient for me to explore the area.

Everything was fine.

As a light sleeper, I loved the spacious and clean rooms. The bed and linens were great for a good night's sleep.

Felt extremely welcome, no reason to complain.
