We had a great time at the Residence Inn. it felt like crashing in a cozy apartment rather than a hotel! The room was spacious, and the kitchenette was so well-equipped that I could’ve hosted a dinner party—if only I knew how to cook. The complimentary breakfast was a sweet assortment, and the free shuttle service to the nearby casinos was like having my own chauffeur, minus the awkward small talk!

Housekeeping needs improvement.

The kitchenette was well-equipped, making it easy to prepare snacks and meals. However, I found the road noise a bit excessive, which detracted from the otherwise enjoyable stay.

Location very good for onward business travel, just off Junction 8 on I10. Breakfast starts at 0600, and hot fresh coffee was always available. Free shuttle service provided convenient access to nearby casinos. The well-equipped kitchenette in my room made preparing snacks easy. Staff was quick in responding to housekeeping requests.

Ope, right when I walked in, I felt welcomed! The staff had that real homey vibe, and ya betcha, the breakfast was a treat! Hopped on the shuttle for the casinos, real handy-like! Just gotta say the fitness center was a touch small. Next time I might whip out my own weights instead!

i almost thought this place might be decent until the tv channels were completely down and no one even told us, talk about service! i expected a bag of goodies at check-in, but apparently i’m not special enough for that. and housekeeping? absolutely atrocious. barely cleaned! who wants to stay in a filthy room? yikes.

Housekeeping could definitely use a boost!!! Rooms often lacked proper cleaning and consistent replenishment of essentials!!! The fitness center was disappointingly small and some areas showed maintenance neglect!!! Consider better noise insulation too!!!

Had a slightly chaotic start with a room that needed a thorough vacuum. Talk about a surprise, finding a moldy shower curtain—yikes!

This was just an appropriate option for a weekend in Lake Charles with value for price. The refrigerator in the room was a bit wobbly, but overall, it did the job. Make sure to request a luggage cart if you need one during check-in.

The room was pretty spacious, which was awesome for spreading out my stuff. The kitchenette had everything I needed, but I kinda wished there was a stove. The bathroom was nice, and the bed was super comfy—definitely got a good night's sleep! Just a heads up, some parts of the carpet looked a bit worn, but it was mostly clean. Overall, it was a solid place to stay!
