My recent stay at the Residence Inn was delightful. The hotel was nicely maintained both inside and outside, and the lobby had plenty of seating and a great view of the pool. The gym was well-equipped with a variety of cardio equipment and dumbbells. I particularly appreciated the small kitchen in my room, which had all the standard offerings for cooking and cleaning. The bathroom was stocked with bulk dispensers, a greener choice. I also liked the option to forgo room cleaning for additional Marriott points, a great way to protect the environment. my stay was quiet, environmentally friendly, and a good value.

Weekend breakfast is excellent with cheery staff keeping things clean; helpful desk team. Room's lobby location feels secure, earplugs for elevator noise. Soap/shampoo dispenser in awesome shower, plenty of towels and swivel TV base. Splendid breakfast buffet with good quality items, replenished by mindful staff. Free and ample parking.

The rooms were spacious and clean, with good air conditioning. the hotel was located in a safe area with plenty of nearby restaurants. I also enjoyed the complimentary breakfast and the well-equipped fitness room.

There was a problem with the electrical outlet on the left side of the bed, which didn't work. This was a minor inconvenience, but it would have been nice to have it functioning properly.

Additionally, the staff were accommodating when we requested sheets for the hide a bed, providing them promptly.

One issue I had was the lack of confirmation emails and a paper receipt for my stay. Despite calling multiple times, I never received any documentation stating what I would be paying for or a breakdown of the charges.

The staff are friendly and attentive, always willing to help with any problem or needs. The rooms are clean and well-maintained, with all the great features you would expect. Additionally, the breakfast includes beer from a local San Marcos brewery, which is a unique and enjoyable touch that enhances the overall experience.

We had a fantastic stay with great location right off the freeway exit, close enough to the beach and near some good restaurants. The suite decor was warm and homey, and the room was fully equipped and very clean and comfy. Complimentary breakfast was also great with a big variety to pick from, and the breakfast staff stayed on top of it at all times. Additionally, the exceptional customer service made our stay a lot more pleasant.

There were minor issues such as small holes in the bed sheets, and the pull-out bed could use a new mattress.

I recently stayed at the Residence Inn for a week-long business trip. The breakfast attendant was absolutely wonderful, always friendly, energetic, and helpful. The staff, in general, was also very friendly and accommodating. I loved having access to the kitchen in my room, complete with utensils and a dishwasher. The location of my room, next to the elevator but with a storage room in between, provided a sense of security and blocked out any noise. The sausage served on Saturday was the best! my stay was comfortable and enjoyable.

During our romantic escape, we enjoyed the free breakfast and the free wine and burger mixer. the key location of the hotel, close to restaurants and stores, made our stay very convenient. Plus, the spacious and clean rooms were a great advantage that created a cozy and relaxing environment.

The hotel and rooms are in need of upgrading and maintenance. There were issues with missing drainage tiles around the pool, bathroom cabinets in disrepair, worn and tattered furniture, and minimal bedding.
