Considering the very rustic setting of Plymouth and after seeing their competition, this hotel was perfect if you're planning on wine tours. Secondly, the attention to detail was evident throughout our experience. From the beautifully upgraded rooms to the complimentary snacks and beverages, everything was thoughtfully provided. Lastly, the breakfast provided was absolutely delicious, with a wide variety of options including fresh fruit, homemade pastries, and quality coffee. We also appreciated the opportunity to casually mingle with other guests and learn about local vineyards during the wine tasting evenings. our stay at this hotel was much more enjoyable than we had anticipated.

This was the second time staying at Rest for our family and it was as great as the first time. We were in town for my sons rodeo, Challenge of the Champions and they remembered us from last year. Upon arriving they presented my son with a beautiful box of locally crafted chocolates, which he loved. The staff was extremely accommodating and friendly. I Love the little touches of this hotel. Fresh baked cookies at night, warm fire and hordoeuvres with wine. The continental breakfast was delicious. Beautiful croissants savory and sweet pastries that were delicious! The spinach and artichoke croissant was a favorite. Plus free snacks and drinks in the fridges in your rooms. Large, nicely decorated clean rooms with super comfy beds and the location for us was perfect. Right down the street from the Amador County Fair grounds. We would definitely stay here again. Loved it!
