Arrived late and the owner whipped up a fab campfire dinner for us! My room was super clean and had a cozy vibe—definitely a highlight!

The street noise at dawn was like an unwelcome rooster! And a metal key? I felt like I’d time traveled to the Stone Age!

The Riverside Motel offers clean and spacious rooms, complete with comfortable beds and a nice view of the river from private decks. My only suggestion would be to provide king-size beds and consider adding an ice machine. It's a great spot for a short stay, conveniently located just a short drive from downtown Hayward.

I really enjoyed the charm of this budget motel. It has a great location right on the river, allowing for peaceful views and easy access to local attractions. The rooms are clean and have that cozy Northern Woods decor, which gives off a comforting vibe. The owners genuinely care for the property and their guests, which enhances the overall experience.

The only downside was the older style of the building, which may not appeal to everyone.

absoluteley disappoined! I expected a room with an actual terrace, not just an obstructed view of the river. What even is this? And no ice machine when the front desk closed? so inconvenient for a guest like me. I almost thought of leaving a good review, but no special treatment? I jusst couldn’t.

The location is fantastic, right by the river where we enjoyed happy hour on the deck. The views were serene.

My wife says that better kid-friendly amenities would be great.

stayed here for a family vacation and it was super chill! the owners were really nice and cared about the place. super clean room, comfy beds, and loved the view of the river from the deck. it’s close to food places and activities, which made it easy for us to have fun! plus, the atmosphere was low-key and relaxing.

only downside was the wifi was kinda slow and the beds were a bit too firm for my liking.

the dock area by the lake was beautiful for relaxation. the air conditioner was very luod and ineffective.

I was super impressed with how clean and cozy everything was! The staff were so helpful, checking in with us daily. Loved how the mini fridge was perfect for storing our snacks and drinks. The balcony view was really nice, great place to chill. Just wish the WiFi was a bit faster. Oh, and the picnic area was a nice touch!
