our recent trip to saguaro lake ranch exceeded all expectations. coming from fountain hills, we were already familiar with the area, but this day tour was truly special. from the friendly and accommodating staff to the delicious breakfast, everything was top-notch. we loved exploring the trails and taking part in the various activities. it was a great experience overall.

As a solo traveler, I loved the peaceful and unspoiled location of this 1930's style ranch. The small cabins and common room were filled with authentic Old West charm, complete with a huge river stone fireplace and Native rugs. The staff were friendly and efficient, always ready to make my stay comfortable. Breakfast was delicious, and the grounds were beautifully maintained. There were plenty of activities to enjoy, like tubing on the Salt River and kayaking. The mountain trail leading to petroglyphs and a view of the lake was a highlight. If you're looking for real nature and history, this is the place to be.

The cottages were rustic but had everything they needed for a nature getaway. The staff, without being intrusive, made sure they were comfortable and accommodated their dietary preferences. The location was fantastic for rest and relaxation in an unspoiled setting. Eagles flew overhead, wild horses drank from the river, and the late afternoon sun turned the cliffs golden. If you're looking for authentic nature and history, this is the place to be.

We had an amazing stay at this beautiful desert retreat. The peaceful location and stunning views made it a perfect getaway for nature lovers like us. The staff treated us like family, ensuring our comfort without being intrusive. The cottages, though rustic, had everything we needed. The breakfast was delicious and changed daily, and the common space with fireplaces, pool, TV, books, and games was wonderful. We enjoyed horseback riding on site and even did a fantastic hike guided by Cooper. We will definitely be back!

The location of this ranch was perfect for a peaceful getaway. Surrounded by picturesque mountains, it felt like we were far away from the city, yet it was just a 45-minute drive from Downtown Phoenix. We loved the fact that we could go tubing on a private area of the Salt River right from the ranch property. Additionally, the staff at the ranch were very friendly and accommodating, making our stay even more enjoyable.

One drawback of our stay was the lack of on-site dining facilities. There was only one restaurant nearby, which was a few miles away, so it would have been more convenient to have a restaurant at the ranch.

The property and surroundings are incredibly beautiful, creating a calm and peaceful oasis. The staff is warm and very helpful, going out of their way to ensure an enjoyable stay. The breakfast is delicious, and they have a Cowboy Cookout with excellent food, beautiful sunset, and good camaraderie. The overall experience is wonderful, with a historic charm and a range of activities to enjoy.
