We enjoyed our time at Salt Fork State Park Lodge, especially the stunning lakeview from our balcony and the clean indoor pool. Although the restaurant had its charm and offered delicious pizza, service was a bit slow, and some amenities like the outdoor pool were unavailable during our visit. This lodge is perfect for families looking for a cozy getaway amidst nature.

Unfortunately, the check-in process felt disorganized, which dampened the start of our stay. The signage throughout the lodge was lacking, leaving my family and me wandering around in search of common areas like the game room. Additionally, some amenities, such as the outdoor pool, were closed during a warmer portion of our stay, which was disappointing since we had been looking forward to enjoying them.

my previous stay in cambridge was okay, but the experience at salt fork blew me away. the lodge offered a private balcony with stunning views of the lake and fall foliage, making it perfect for relaxation. the dining experience was also enjoyable, with delicious breakfast options and attentive service at the restaurant.

It was just a decent option for a holiday in Cambridge with high value for money. The indoor pool was nice for relaxing after a day of exploring. Check the time of the dining hours. they close early and you might miss out on a good meal.

The breakfast special was fantastic! And the views from our balcony, surrounded by majestic oaks, were breathtaking. Loved the indoor pool and the cozy lounge area too.

But the surrounding outdoor areas could have been cleaner, as some debris was left from the previous day.

Our room had a telephone and the balcony views were awesome. The spa facilities were relaxing and perfect after hiking. We really loved the indoor pool, which felt great for unwinding. Dining at the Timbers restaurant was nice, especially breakfast with lake views. Can't wait for another stay!

The room was clean but definitely felt dated. Air conditioning worked well, which was a relief during our stay. The furniture could use some TLC—like the couch that was kind of broken. Also, the views from the balcony were nice, and the lodge had some good amenities, but it didn't seem worth the price, especially with some pools closed. It felt comfy enough for a short stay, just not super special.
