Our weekend baby moon and birthday celebration at Sand Bar Cottage Inn was marvelous. the staff, especially Chris, was accommodating and helpful when we wanted to switch rooms. the spacious, cozy, and clean room with a hot tub exceeded our expectations. Breakfast was delicious, and the location allowed us to walk to nearby restaurants easily. the friendly and welcoming staff, along with the relaxing afternoon tea on the front porch, made our stay truly memorable. We will definitely return.

We enjoyed the convenient location close to everything in town, allowing easy access to main attractions and Acadia National Park. the breakfast was top, notch, with friendly staff and excellent coffee available early for hikers. the inn's facilities were well, maintained, offering a cozy ambiance for relaxing on the front porch or engaging in conversations with fellow guests. Parking was hassle, free, making our stay even more convenient. Cons: Nothing it was perfect.

Sand Bar Cottage Inn exceeded all expectations. the attention to detail in decor and furnishings was lovely. the breakfasts were creative and delicious, and the afternoon tea treats were a delightful surprise. Superb location, just 5 minutes from the bustling area yet situated on a quiet street near the famous sand bar walk. A perfect place for a relaxing stay.

Ik had een fantastisch verblijf in dit hotel. De kamer was modern, schoon en erg mooi. Het zwembad was goed ingericht en het personeel was uiterst behulpzaam en vriendelijk. During our recent Christmas stay, we were impressed with the warm and cozy atmosphere of the inn. We especially enjoyed the lovely attention to detail in the decor and the complimentary afternoon tea and cakes. the location was perfect for our needs, just a short walk from the main attractions and activities. We also appreciated the personalized service from the manager.

We honestly cannot think of anything negative to say about our experience. Everything was well beyond our expectations and we had a wonderful stay.

We had a wonderful stay at Sand Bar Cottage Inn. The location was perfect, close to the harbor and downtown yet quiet. The breakfast was delicious and we loved the afternoon cookies. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. We especially appreciated the innkeeper who went above and beyond to make our mini honeymoon special. He even surprised us with a treat! The historic building and cozy cottages added to the charm of our stay. we highly recommend this inn.

The location of the hotel is very convenient, just a short walk into town. The room I stayed in was beautifully restored, with a comfortable and spacious layout. The air conditioning provided in the Deluxe room was a great addition. The breakfast served was delicious, with scrumptious mini Belgian waffles.

There was no view of the beautiful harbor or islands.

What a great hotel! I loved the vintage look and the decor of my room. The location was perfect, I could easily walk everywhere. The staff was super nice and very attentive. Breakfast was exceptional, and they even had leftover treats for guests. I also appreciated the free toiletries in the room.

I recommend this place to everyone.
