The beautifully decorated rooms ensure a comfortable stay, with the bed being especially comfortable. The staff is friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable about local happenings in Portland. They even accommodated our early check-in request, which was great!

For us it was ideal.

The hotel has beautiful terraces with a balcony and gas fire pit, and the view of downtown is phenomenal. The beds are very comfy and the breakfast served at Jake's Grill is top-notch.

The food served at banquets could be improved.

Our xmas stay at this hotel was great! We really appreciated the complimentary hot cocoa and cookies upon arrival and the breakfast in bed on xmas morning was a nice touch. the location was perfect, close to many restaurants, shops, and tourist attractions. the room had a great view of the city.

There were some downsides. the towels were a bit worn and could use an upgrade.

The beds at Sentinel were extremely comfortable with ideal bedding for Portland's varying weather. my stay was great, and I would recommend it.

The lack of attention to detail with amenities such as missing shampoo and broken faucets in the bathroom dampened the overall experience.

This hotel is perfectly located near the tram line and other attractions such as the Oregon historical museum. The rooms are cozy and clean, with comfortable beds and well-thought-out bedding for the climate. The bathroom is spacious but one outlet by the sink may be a bit inconvenient. Downstairs restaurant serves excellent food and a lively bar, with a quieter option for a nightcap. The staff is friendly and the hotel itself is beautiful, offering a rooftop terrace and amenities such as Wi-Fi.

There was a fire alarm that disrupted the night's sleep, and there seemed to be a lack of procedure and communication for handling such an emergency.

We had a fantastic stay at this hotel. The staff was friendly and accommodating, allowing us early check-in and securing our luggage while we grabbed some food. Valet parking was convenient, and the option to keep our vehicle in front of the hotel for easy access until 10pm was a great perk. The terrace in our King Terrace Suite offered stunning views of the city, and the fire pit was a cozy addition. The roll-out bed for our daughter was provided free of charge and fit perfectly beside our comfortable bed. The 24-hour gym on the second floor was well-equipped with a Peloton and more. The hotel's location in downtown Portland was convenient, with Nicky at the front desk offering excellent recommendations for places to visit. The nearby food truck pod served the best sandwich we've ever had, and the hotel was centrally located near various shops and attractions.

I had a great stay at the Sentinel while on a short business trip. The staff was friendly and accommodating, and the hotel had a unique character with intricate details throughout. The central location allowed for easy access to anywhere in the Pearl district. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the room service was exceptional. The hotel even had a Starbucks on site, which was perfect for those early mornings or late evenings. my experience at the Sentinel was outstanding, and I would definitely recommend it.

The food was of poor quality and the service was extremely slow. there was a fire alarm in the middle of the night, which disrupted our sleep and caused inconvenience.

The interior of the hotel was unique and had a great aesthetic. the lobby area had interesting decor items that added to the charm. the hotel's location was also very convenient, allowing us to walk to most places and take the train when needed.

One of the main issues we had was with the heating in our room. It was extremely hot and despite our efforts to fix it, nothing improved.
