The hotel exceeded our expectations in terms of cleanliness, hotel facilities, and staff. The room was extremely clean and comfortable, with a hot tub as a bonus. The heated roof pool was a hit with the kids. The staff, including the front desk clerks and restaurant/bar waiters, were very friendly and accommodating.

Plus, the hotel had a very nice bar and restaurant area, providing a great spot to relax and enjoy delicious meals. I also loved that this place offered plenty of room service food deliveries and other choices to be brought to me without ever having to leave the hotel. But being beachfront, why would I not want to go out and explore? There's so much to do in the area, and this hotel even had a lot of activities for guests to enjoy as well.

As foreign tourists, we loved the hotel's free bike rental and the lovely bike lane along the sea. The breakfast buffet included in our stay was a nice touch. The staff was excellent, providing helpful and friendly service. The location in Manhattan Beach was perfect, with the beach, restaurants, and boutiques just a few blocks away.

During our Christmas break, we had a wonderful stay at a hotel near the beach. the staff was friendly, and they offered us complimentary champagne upon arrival, which was a pleasant surprise. the hotel was conveniently located close to the shopping district and restaurants, making it easy for us to explore the area. We also enjoyed the fact that the hotel was located near the Strand, which was perfect for a morning jog or evening stroll.

The only negative aspect we experienced was that on one day, some roads near the hotel were closed off due to an event, which made it a bit challenging to navigate around the area. our stay was enjoyable, and we would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable stay near the beach.

We were also impressed by the in-house bar, where we enjoyed some delicious drinks during our stay. The location of the hotel was perfect, right in the heart of downtown Manhattan Beach. We didn't need a car as everything was within walking distance, from restaurants and shops to the beautiful beach. The breakfast provided each morning was varied and delicious, offering something for everyone. We also appreciated the beach cruisers provided by the hotel, allowing us to take a leisurely bike ride along the coast. we had an amazing experience at Shade Hotel and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting this area.

I recently stayed at a boutique hotel in a prime location for my trip to LA. The hotel was just a short walk to the beach, and the reception staff were friendly and welcoming. The room was clean and comfortable, with a spacious bathroom. I especially enjoyed the free passes to a nearby Equinox gym, which was a great bonus. Additionally, the bar and restaurant provided excellent service and had a great atmosphere.

I was disappointed that I couldn't access the bar during a special event.
