The rooms were superb, spacious, and clean. The historic feel of the inn was charming and well-maintained. The bathroom and shower were luxurious and recently renovated. The location was perfect, allowing for a quiet stay but still close to Salem.

We had such a great time at Shea's Riverside Inn & Motel! Instead of exploring Gloucester, we enjoyed the beautiful location and soaked up the sun while watching the activity on the tidal river. The convenience of having several restaurants within walking distance and being able to stroll along the historic Essex walking trail was a bonus. Our room was spacious, clean, and comfortable, with a lovely deck overlooking the river. The attention to detail and abundance of hooks and storage space were impressive. We will definitely be back!

This hotel is in a great location on the river, close to beaches, and within walking distance to excellent restaurants. The cleanliness of the rooms was exceptional, and the hotel facilities were well-maintained. Parking was convenient, and the staff was friendly and helpful.
