The highlight of our stay at Skyline Village Inn was the amazing view of the Blue Ridge Mountains. Waking up to such a picturesque sight was truly breathtaking. The location of the inn was also excellent, with easy access to both the mountains and downtown Spruce Pine. The rooms, though small, were cozy and had a rustic charm to them. The water pressure in the shower was good and the air conditioning worked perfectly. The owners were friendly and accommodating, and we particularly enjoyed the delicious breakfast they prepared for us each morning. The food at dinner was also tasty, especially the steak and crab cakes. Despite the small drawbacks, like the lack of a hairdryer and some outdated furnishings, our overall experience at Skyline Village Inn was memorable and enjoyable. We plan to return every year because we simply love it here. I would highly recommend this inn for those seeking a nostalgic and cozy stay with stunning mountain views.

As youngsters, we loved the authentic 1940s feel of the hotel. The small rooms gave a cozy vibe, and the updated wifi and charging stations were a bonus. The personal involvement of the owners made it feel like a bed & breakfast experience. The home cooked breakfast and dinner options were delicious and reasonably priced. The balcony view of the Smokies and the Parkway was breathtaking.

I recently stayed at a lodge style accommodation right off the Blue Ridge Parkway and it was a fantastic experience. The location was perfect for exploring the area and going on a spectacular ride along the parkway. The hosts were incredibly welcoming and provided us with helpful information about the surrounding area. The room was comfortable and had everything we needed. The homemade breakfast in the morning was delicious and gave us a great start to the day. Plus, the panoramic view of the Blue Ridge Mountains was simply breathtaking.

Although the lodge had a lot to offer, the noise from the road traffic could be a bit distracting at times.

The innkeepers are amazing and very knowledgeable about the inn's history. The surf and turf dinner on the deck was delicious, with a stunning view. They have microbrews, a humidor room for cigars, and a game room with pool, chess, and darts. The hidden moonshine room and tunnel add to the inn's fascinating history. We'll definitely be returning!
