Nothing could have been better.

The hotel had a cozy and charming feel, with beautiful, custom-made Bavarian pine furniture and cozy bedspreads in plaid. The gas-log fireplaces and heated marble floors added to the comfort. The ski concierge at the base of the gondola made it easy to access the slopes. The breakfast was delicious and the staff were friendly and helpful.

Stayed 4 nights over Labor Day. Beautiful hotel with relaxing atmosphere. Loved the 3 spas and the indoor/outdoor pool. Quick walk to village events, shops, and restaurants. Staff were wonderful! Bed turned down every night, with slippers and robes laid out. Vallet was friendly and prompt. Would definitely stay again.

I had the most wonderful stay at a stunning resort in the heart of the mountains. From the moment I stepped foot into this cozy hotel, I felt at peace. The surroundings were breathtaking, with a river flowing and creating a sense of paradise. The pool and hot tubs were clean and private, perfect for relaxation. My suite was stylish and updated, complete with clean white robes and slippers. The staff went above and beyond to make our celebration special, with a complimentary bottle of wine and a happy birthday card for my mother-in-law. The breakfast was unmatched, with a wide selection of delicious food. The overall experience was unforgettable, and I can't wait to recommend this hidden gem to my friends and family.

The pool and spa area were phenomenal, the perfect place to relax and unwind after a day exploring the area. The ambiance of the hotel gave off a wonderful European feel and the breakfast buffet was exceptional. would highly recommend!

Our stay at Sonnenalp was amazing! We've been visiting Vail for the past 5 years and decided to stay in Vail Village this time. The location was perfect, right next to the Gondola, making it convenient for skiing. The service was excellent, with a friendly and helpful staff. The cozy lodge had easy access to shopping, restaurants, and bars. The on-site restaurants were all great, and the concierge desk provided excellent recommendations and made reservations for us. We had a wonderful stay at Sonnenalp!

The stay in this hotel was luxurious and outstanding. From the moment I arrived, the staff was attentive and helpful, ensuring that all my exclusive amenities needs were met. The Spa & Wellness Center was exceptional, with a variety of massages and treatments available. The indoor swimming pool and sauna were immaculate and the sun terrace offered stunning views of the beautiful garden area. The entertainment provided by the bar/lounge area was lively and enjoyable. The room was spacious, clean, and the restaurant served delicious in-room breakfast.

The only negative aspect of my stay was the lack of labels for the special diet menus offered at the restaurant. As someone with dietary restrictions, it made it difficult to choose an appropriate meal.

Great hotel with wonderful amenities. The location was perfect, right in the heart of the village. The staff was genuinely hospitable and friendly. The rooms were clean, spacious, and had beautiful views of the creek. The breakfast buffet was delicious and had a variety of options. it was a great experience and we felt right at home.

The prices were on the expensive side, especially compared to other high-end properties we've stayed at. It was surprising considering it was off-season and the hotel didn't seem to be fully booked.
