While the breakfast had very limited offerings and I did not see any fresh fruit offered, overall, this hotel provides a satisfactory experience.

We loved the horseback riding facilities, they were exceptional! The location of the resort was absolutely amazing. The cabins were perfect in every way - cozy and comfortable. The outdoor amenities and the staff were equally awesome. The food was delicious and memorable.

We felt very at home during our stay, no complaints whatsoever.

My husband and I recently stayed at this beautiful resort nestled in the hills outside of Winthrop. Our unit was lovely, with a nice sitting area, balcony, and gorgeous view. The breathtaking views, pool, and hot tub were fantastic. The Seattle’s Best coffee in our room truly is great coffee! The landscaping is lovely, and the old world mountain look of the hotel is charming. The staff were very nice, friendly, and efficient. The availability of horse riding at the hotel is unique and a big plus. The food and service in all restaurants were excellent, and the grounds were very well maintained. we enjoyed the whole atmosphere of the hotel and would encourage friends to visit.

I recently stayed at Sun Mountain Lodge for a family vacation. The location is truly breathtaking, with stunning views. The showers had great water pressure, which was a pleasant surprise. The staff were friendly and accommodating, especially towards our children. The restaurant prices were a bit high, but the food was delicious. I highly recommend trying their steak salad. The cabins by the lake were charming and there were plenty of amenities available. it was a fantastic experience.

I loved staying at this place! The location was stunning, nestled in the hills just outside of town. The staff were so helpful, and even helped me rent ski equipment. My room was very comfortable with great amenities like an iron, tea and coffee facilities, and free wi-fi. Best Aspects. I had a fantastic stay at a lodge in Winthrop. The food in the lounge for dinner and breakfast in the dining room was great. The ample breakfast portions kept me full for a 4-hour hike up a mountain. The lodge has an attached hiking trail system that's fabulous for every level of hiker. You can hike for 30 minutes or all day and not hike the same trail more than once. There are multiple outdoor activities at the lodge, and the activities center is helpful in planning for everything.

I recently stayed at a beautiful mountain retreat near Winthrop for a peaceful getaway. The location was stunning, with lots of hiking trails and potential for beautiful views. The staff at this lodge went above and beyond, helping us get into our room early and providing excellent service. The lack of TVs and electronics added to the tranquil atmosphere. The complimentary breakfast was delicious, and the beds were comfy. A follow-up letter thanking us for our stay was a nice touch.

The view from our room at Sun Mountain Lodge was stunning! We had a little bit of trouble with the coffee maker and the coffee wasn't the best, but we enjoyed the delicious food at the restaurant. Seeing deer roam around the property was also a nice touch. I would definitely recommend this hotel for a peaceful retreat.

The location and setup of the lodge is awesome. The views and remote area are top-notch. The lodge offers a variety of facilities and activities for both adults and children, including a sports room, library, and outdoor hot tub. The lodge is also conveniently located near beautiful frozen lakes and the Winthrop downtown area, which has a lot of activities for kids. The food at the lodge is always delicious, and there is a ski and gift shop on-site. The rooms are clean and the beds are comfortable.
