Beautiful location with room for improvement

Great view and spacious rooms! Loved the clean kitchen and two bathrooms, made it so comfy for the fam. The staff was super friendly, and the snack bar was handy. Only bummer was some cockroaches in our unit. Really dampened our sleep, but the place itself was nice. Would recommend for families!

We, as old folks, absolutely loved the spacious unit with a complete living room, dining room, and two full bathrooms. The lanai overlooking the ocean was a perfect spot for relaxation. The main pool and hot tub with ocean views were fantastic. The friendly and helpful staff made sure we had everything we needed. The location was convenient, with restaurants and shops just a short drive away. The nearby grocery store within walking distance was a big plus. the amenities, beautiful setting, and comfortable beds made our stay at the resort enjoyable.

We stayed at Kona Coast Resort for a week and had an amazing time! The staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating, addressing all our requests including accessibility for my husband, an ocean view, and keeping us in the same room for our timeshare week. The communication was excellent throughout our stay. The room was clean and spacious, with a well-stocked kitchen. The bed was super comfortable and the air conditioning was perfect. The resort grounds and facilities were well-maintained, and we enjoyed amenities like pickleball and the pool bar. The location was great too, with stores just a short walk away and a 10-minute drive into town. it was a perfect spot for a wonderful vacation.

Spacious suite with large balcony and kitchen, two bathrooms. Close to beaches, shopping center. Resort offers pools, jacuzzis, gyms, sauna.

We stayed at a hotel that had a great location for convenience. There were grocery stores and restaurants just a short walk across the road, making it easy to grab anything we needed. The hotel was also close to the bay, so we had beautiful views and could easily go down to the restaurant for meals.

The hotel was located next to a busy freeway, resulting in constant noise that made it difficult to relax and enjoy our stay.

We had a fantastic stay at the Kona Coast Resort. Our room was spacious and clean, with comfortable beds and a fully equipped kitchen. The sunset view from our room was absolutely stunning. The resort had great amenities including two pools and sports facilities. The location was perfect, with nearby beaches and a shopping center just across the street. The staff were friendly and knowledgeable about the area. we had a wonderful experience and would definitely recommend this resort.

We had an amazing value for our money at Kona Coast Resort. The room was spacious with two bathrooms and a well-equipped kitchen. The location was great, central to everything in Kona, and the staff treated us excellently.

The only thing that could make the breakfast offerings better would be more variety.

I had an amazing stay at a fabulous resort in Kailua-Kona. The location was perfect, with everything I needed close by. The resort itself was clean, spacious, and had great facilities. The room I stayed in exceeded my expectations, with fantastic in-room amenities and a balcony overlooking a beautiful golf field. The high ceiling added to the spaciousness and made me feel right at home. The resort also had a laundromat, which was convenient for longer stays. Additionally, the nearby KTA supermarket and pharmacy made it easy to grab any essentials I needed. I had a fantastic time at this resort and would highly recommend it.

While the resort had many positives, there were a few minor drawbacks. There was no beach right outside the resort, but this seems to be an issue with the entire Big Island.

The rooms were equipped with a kitchen and laundry facilities, perfect for families and those planning to do activities around the island. The barbecue grill was a nice touch too. We appreciated not being pressured into a timeshare talk. The staff were friendly and helpful, the bed was amazing, and the view was beautiful. The highlight was definitely the restaurant/bar by the pool, with delicious food and a fantastic bartender who gave us great tips about the island. We will consider bringing friends or family next time and staying in a two-bedroom condo.

We stayed at this resort for our family vacation and were incredibly pleased with our experience. The location is fantastic, close to the main Kona area but still peaceful and quiet. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful, and the units are incredibly spacious with all the comforts of home. We loved the small touches like popcorn for the kids and washing powder provided. The property itself is beautiful, with stunning views from the lanai and great amenities like pools and hot tubs. We would definitely return to this amazing accommodation.

The hotel lacked any sort of charm or appeal. The location was inconvenient, making it difficult to move around or entertain yourself. Just across the main road is a shopping complex so you can get groceries or eat out, but the area was far away from the center of activity. However, one positive thing was that the hotel was very close to food shopping and handy in that regard with shopping facilities close by.

The staff were clearly not properly trained or experienced in dealing with guests, as they seemed unsure and fumbling in their tasks.

The resort had spacious rooms, well-stocked kitchen, and stunning pool views. The bar staff was excellent. The activities desk provided great advice. The location was convenient.

Nothing that I didn't like.

We loved the spacious apartment with two bathrooms, kitchen, and a large balcony, which made us feel right at home. The pool was nice and the little gym was okay. The hotel facilities were great, especially the beach supply rental and quality snorkeling gear. The staff was helpful and accommodating, and the location was perfect for us. It was away from the main town center, making it very quiet, but still conveniently located across the road from grocery stores and restaurants. The beautiful beach for snorkeling was just a short distance away, and we enjoyed a delicious meal down at the restaurant.

The resort had a great view of the ocean, spacious rooms with full kitchen and washer/dryer, activities desk for signing up for adventures, beautiful grounds/gardens, and friendly reception staff.
