I recently stayed at Super 8 in Emporia for 2 nights during a road trip. The room was clean and well maintained. The furniture was up to date, considering the age of the property. The staff was friendly, helpful, and their English was excellent. The breakfast offered biscuits and two types of gravy, a pleasant surprise compared to other Super 8 motels. The highlight was when their computer was down, they gave me a room without confirmation and even cooked me a complimentary dinner. The two girls on staff were incredibly kind and caring, treating me like family.
