The rooms are large and nicely furnished, with king-size beds and spacious modern bathrooms. The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful, ensuring that everything is right for your stay. Additionally, the complimentary breakfast is outstanding, with a varied daily menu offering delicious options like eggs, pancakes, and French toast.

All in all, everything at this hotel was great and there is nothing that could be improved.

The hotel is conveniently located within walking distance of the downtown shops and the center of town. The rooms, while not in perfect condition, are cozy and come with a king bed. I loved having a patio where I could relax and enjoy the surroundings. The breakfast was included in the price and featured made to order hot dishes, like crispy bacon on the eggs.

All was more than ok, no improvements needed.

We had an appointment in the area and tried to get a reservation at a B&B, but it was full, so the owner recommended this inn and we LOVED IT!! Staff wonderful, breakfast and dinner delicious, corner room with more windows perfect, walk-in shower great. The common rooms were welcoming with very interesting books. Sommelier and our waiter, Jay, were delightfully engaging, knowledgeable, and really made the experience memorable in a good way :) Highly recommend.

Our stay at this B&B exceeded our expectations. The rooms were spacious, clean, and well-furnished. The beautiful grounds were a highlight, especially during the summer. The staff provided exceptional service and were knowledgeable about the local area. We also enjoyed the delicious food at the on-site restaurant.

While the B&B was located close to the town center, we did experience some traffic noise being near a main road. Additionally, the dining area was located a short walk away from our room, which was not ideal for convenience.

We recently celebrated our anniversary at this delightful inn. The garden room and the carriage house were both lovely accommodations. The owners and staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating throughout our stay. The highlight was definitely the breakfast, with a wide array of delicious options that surpassed our expectations. We also received discount tickets for a local museum, which was a nice bonus. the Swift House Inn provided excellent value and a memorable experience. We will definitely be back!

The Swift House Inn in Middlebury exceeded our expectations in every way. Beautiful buildings, palatial room with a cozy fireplace, luxurious sheets, and a comfortable king bed. The innkeeper provided great information and the breakfast was divine. The common areas were tastefully decorated with art, furniture, and books. Fantastic customer service, allowing us to check in early and providing excellent recommendations.
