Perfectly situated for a weekend of exploration in Mystic!

This charming hotel is just a short stroll away from downtown Mystic, making it incredibly easy to explore attractions like the Mystic Aquarium in less than 30 minutes on foot, while the vibrant Mystic Market right across the street provides delicious food options for breakfast, lunch, and dinner; the rooms are comfortable and well-maintained, offering a relaxing lawn area to sit outside, but we did notice some ants during our stay that could have been addressed before our arrival.

Our experience at Taber Inn was delightful, featuring a charming 1950s-style room and beautifully landscaped grounds. The friendly staff went above and beyond, providing a lovely breakfast delivered to our room. Perfectly located, we enjoyed both tranquility and easy access to Mystic’s attractions.

Our room had this musty smell that really bothered my allergies. I couldn't shake it, which made it hard to relax. Coupled with the bed rolling us towards the middle, it was tough to get a good night's sleep.

The beds were super cozy and the room was spic and span, plus we had a town house with a fridge and microwave for extra space - loved that! We enjoyed chillin' on the lawn every day, so tranquil and serene. The only downside was the overpowering smell of air freshener in the room, had to air it out for hours; would've been cool if they offered a room change or something, but overall, it was a stellar find! 😊

The owner, Tom, made the experience special with his welcoming demeanor and insightful recommendations. The room was spacious, clean, and perfect for our family of five, though a mini fridge and microwave would have been nice for late-night coffee. Walking to town was a bit of a trek, but we enjoyed the exercise. The place had charm, but the thin walls made me hesitant to use the TV. Trains pass by occasionally, but they weren’t too disruptive.

A minor issue was the proximity of occupied rooms. Overall, a delightful experience that I highly recommend. Thank you for a wonderful start to my trip!

Off the beaten path, this inn offers a warm welcome. Arriving was a breeze; the hosts, Angie and Joe, were genuinely friendly. Our room was spacious, impeccably clean, and featured a cozy gas fireplace. The indoor pool and complimentary breakfast were unexpected perks. not all was perfect. My room lacked a refrigerator and the sink area felt cramped. Airflow was limited, and an odd odor lingered in the bathroom. A knock on the door late in the evening disturbed our tranquility, citing inappropriate conversations. It felt unfair, given the noise levels of the jetted tub and TV. Despite these hiccups, it remains a solid choice for a peaceful getaway.

Just stayed at a Mystic hotel. LOVED the massive room with a fireplace! Breakfast was ok. Indoor pool and garden were great. Would come back. Pictures don't do justice.
