We stumbled upon this hidden gem in South Tahoe during a late night drive back to Canada. The owner, Ed, was awake and allowed us to park our pickup and trailer on site. Room 26 was a pleasant surprise, reminding us of our cozy mountain getaways in Canada. We only stayed one night but will definitely return when we're back in California. a delightful stay at Tahoe Valley Lodge.

We absolutely loved our stay at Tahoe Valley Lodge. The rooms were cozy and beautifully decorated, making us feel right at home. The staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcomed, offering great advice on local entertainment and dining. The attention to detail was impeccable. Though it would have been nice to be closer to the casinos, we enjoyed the peaceful atmosphere and being close to the Keys. we highly recommend this hotel for a delightful and enjoyable stay.

The price was a bit too high for what I got, especially considering that the room only had a shower, no tub. the road noise was noticeable, and I could also hear noise from other guests.
