Great value for the price, cute and clean bear themed cabin style accommodations. Convenient location off the highway. Manager went above and beyond to accommodate our late check-in and helped us stay connected when we had trouble with our phone.

My family and I recently stayed at a lovely hotel near the Targhee National Forest for our vacation. We had a great time exploring the nearby attractions such as Idaho Falls and the Yellowstone National Park. The hotel had a convenient location, with a restaurant across the street and easy access to various destinations. The exterior door design added to the relaxation factor, and we loved the spacious fridge in our room. The grab n go breakfast was a nice touch, and the staff were friendly and professional. Another plus was the athletic field behind the hotel, which was perfect for our dogs to stretch their legs. it was a comfortable and enjoyable stay.

Can't recommend highly enough this hotel.

Nothing it is perfect.

We recently stayed at the Fishing Bear Lodge and had a wonderful experience. The room was comfortable and beautifully decorated with a charming "bear" theme. The small bathroom had thoughtful touches and efficient use of space. The receptionists were friendly and provided us with great suggestions for local eateries. We especially enjoyed the breakfast "to go bag" that included delicious muffins and cookies. The lodge has a quaint, one-floor layout reminiscent of the "good old days." It was perfect for a restful overnight stop during our road trip.

The location was perfect for our family trip, with easy access to Idaho Falls, GTNP, and YNP. The beds were comfortable and the fridge was a plus. The staff at the reception were friendly, giving great suggestions for eateries. The room had a cozy bear-themed decor and the bathroom had nice touches. Breakfast included fresh fruit and prepackaged goodies. a great value for an overnight rest.

We had a great weekend at this lodge in Ashton! The cabin-style accommodations were adorable and spotlessly clean. We loved the bear-themed decor and the separate spaces for the two queen beds in our room. Plus, the location was perfect for our trip to Yellowstone and the Grand Tetons. We were just a short drive away from both parks and right off the highway, making it convenient to explore the beautiful surroundings.

Although our overall experience was excellent, there were a couple of minor downsides. the soap provided could have been of better quality.

We stayed at the Fishing Bear Lodge for a week and it was amazing! The 2 bedroom mini suite was beautifully decorated with attention to detail. The huge bathroom was a plus. The key was ready for us upon late arrival, and the clean and cozy room had great country music playing. The small breakfast with fresh fruit and coffee was a nice touch. The owners, Jeff and Patty, were wonderful and caring, and the location was central to hiking trails and tourist attractions. We would definitely stay here again!

I do recommend this hotel.

The rooms were nicely decorated with a cozy cabin theme. The beds were comfortable and the large TV in the room was a plus. Additionally, the staff was friendly and accommodating, willing to assist with any requests or needs.

There were a couple of drawbacks during my stay. the bathroom was quite small, especially for someone with mobility issues.

We were impressed with the attention to detail in every aspect of the room. Despite arriving late, the key was conveniently waiting for us and the room was clean and cozy. The large bathroom, which looked recently upgraded, was absolutely gorgeous. The lodge had a welcoming atmosphere, with country music playing upon our arrival. The next morning, we were pleasantly surprised to find a fresh fruit and coffee breakfast ready for us. The staff even took care of clearing the walkways and parking lot from the foot of snow overnight. The nearby café across the street was a convenient and friendly place for breakfast. we had a great experience and would definitely stay here again.

There were also coffee, tea, and hot chocolate available in the "lobby". The lodge had a charming rambler type layout, reminiscent of the "good old days". It was perfect for a road trip stopover or a restful overnight stay. The souvenir items for sale, including good quality t-shirts, were a nice touch.
