I recently stayed at The Barnstead Inn for a weekend getaway. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, making me feel right at home. The included breakfast was fantastic with excellent coffee and perfectly cooked eggs and waffles. The inn itself has a charming Vermont aesthetic, with cozy cabin-like rooms and a beautiful farm setting. It's also conveniently located within walking distance to shops and restaurants in town. a truly delightful and unique hotel experience.

The rooms were cozy and spacious, with a nice blend of old-timey decor. the homemade breakfast was exceptional, with delicious food and terrific coffee. the location of the hotel was great, with the village and various ski resorts within walking distance.

The mattress in the bed was too soft for my liking, and I would have preferred a firmer one. Additionally, the WiFi connection was not strong, which was frustrating.

I had an exceptional experience at The Barnstead Inn. From the moment I arrived, I felt like I was staying with friends. The Battenkill Suite was clean, comfortable, and full of character. The hosts, Andrea and Pete, were incredibly friendly and welcoming. The staff, especially Jake, were always helpful throughout my stay. The homemade breakfast was absolutely delicious and the cozy family room setting made it even better. I loved being greeted by Lucky, the resident dog, every morning. In the evenings, the Tavern offered a great atmosphere with live music and tasty cocktails. I can confidently say that The Barnstead Inn will be my go-to place whenever I visit Southern Vermont.

Close to restaurants, stores, and hiking trails. Outstanding breakfast options and treated like family by hosts. Peaceful grounds, cozy room, and fantastic hosts. Perfect location for exploring Manchester. Great recommendations for special occasions.

My girlfriend and I had a wonderful weekend getaway at the Barnstead Inn. The cozy and comfortable room had a nice queen bed, air conditioning, and a fridge. The old-timey decor added to the charm, especially the nightstands made from old desks. The pool was like a soothing bath at night, and we felt like we had the place to ourselves. The owners were welcoming and gave us a local update on the surrounding area. We enjoyed the peaceful atmosphere and definitely plan on coming back. I highly recommend this lovely inn for a relaxing stay.

The room I stayed in was clean and cozy, with a comfortable bed and a well-equipped bathroom. The breakfast each morning was delicious, and there was always coffee and tea available. Additionally, the hotel offered facilities such as a pool and a brick pizza oven, which were great amenities to have.

That during the day, there was some traffic noise from the road outside.
