The mattress felt incredibly hard, the TV's position was awkward to view from the bed, and the lack of effective blackout curtains let too much light in!!! The toilet seat could use replacing!!!

The rooms are kept clean, and the ownership is clearly invested in updates, showcasing better-than-average towels for a motel. No shortage of hot water for showers, which feels great after a long day. The fridge and microwave do offer some solid conveniences.

Some rooms are quite a trek from the office and essentials like the ice machine. that’s a hassle. A few guests noted that the mattress and sheets had issues, with some stains reported, and the bathroom fan is an absolute joke, turning off way too quickly. The decor is showing age and could really use some sprucing up, and noise can be an issue with the outside, making it hard to catch quality rest.

Perfect for a quick getaway

First off, the shower was wicked powerful and it was super quiet! The staff, like Lisa-Marie, were just so helpful! They even refunded my last night without me askin’. Clean room with comfy vibes. No luxuries, but that adds to the charm. Felt right at home in Machias, likin' the simple life here. Perfect for chillin’ after my hikes.

Had an awesome trip with friends! We stayed in a clean room that was comfy and had a fridge and microwave, which made it easy for late-night snacks. Took a 3-hour lighthouse tour, saw some beautiful views, and loved the local pizza joint next door. Friendly staff and good water pressure in the shower too!

One downside was that we found the bathroom fan turned off too quickly, which made it a bit inconvenient after showering. It could use an upgrade!

The room had a comfortable bed and was exceptionally clean, showcasing the owners' commitment to maintenance. The inclusion of a fridge and microwave made meal prep easy, especially for our pet-friendly stay. our dog enjoyed the trip. A convenient coffee maker added to the pleasant experience. However, the shower stall could benefit from additional shelves for toiletries. A standout feature was enjoying fresh-cracked eggs in the morning, which truly elevated the stay.
