I recently stayed at Hyatt Place for 4 days to celebrate my granddaughter's 17th birthday. The hotel's safety measures, like needing a room key to access the elevator, gave me peace of mind. The staff was amazing, always accommodating and showing genuine care, especially during a difficult time when my mother was in the hospital. The cleanliness of the entire hotel was impressive, with sanitation stations conveniently located throughout. Additionally, the hotel's location was central to the beach, restaurants, and stores, making it a convenient choice. I also enjoyed the bar that stayed open until 11 pm.

During our recent stay at this hotel, we were pleasantly surprised by how much we enjoyed our experience. From the service to the breakfast, everything was exceptional. We loved the convenience of the location, as it was safe, clean, and easy to get around. Our room was spacious and comfortable with great facilities. The bathroom was stunningly clean and comfortable with a good shower and well-stocked with towels. The breakfast was satisfying with a delicious variety of eggs, pancakes, fruit, and waffles.

Although some aspects of the hotel exceeded our expectations, the checkout process could benefit from improvement. The limited availability of carts can be frustrating, especially when one has to transport a lot of bags and their baby from higher floors.

The hotel was in a good location, with many attractions and dining options nearby. We were able to easily drive to various places during our romantic escape. Additionally, the facility was clean and well-maintained, providing a comfortable atmosphere.

There were a few negative aspects that affected our overall experience. the pool was disappointingly small for the number of guests, making it difficult to enjoy a relaxing swim.

The breakfast variety was great. Rooms were modern with panoramic view peep hole, large TV with great sound, and large windows. Comfortable, firm bed. Swivel lamps and adjustable desk chair. Modern bathroom with low step shower, high rised sink, and soft towels. Friendly staff, clean hotel, great location.

Breakfast had a varied selection. Staff were responsive to our requests for more bedding and towels. Room was comfortable, despite being small. Water pressure in the shower was great. Lobby was always tidy.

We had a wonderful stay over New Year's. the cleanliness of the hotel was impressive, and the staff was extremely helpful and friendly. We appreciated the availability of plenty of parking, as well as the convenience of having a restaurant nearby for breakfast. the location was great, with a gas station nearby for any last-minute needs.

The only downside was the traffic noise outside the bedroom window, which disrupted our sleep throughout the night. Despite the comfortable bed and ideal room temperature, the noise made it difficult to have a restful night.

The location of Hyatt Place was perfect for our needs, with easy access to the interstate and nearby attractions such as Norfolk and the Oceanfront. We appreciated the cleanliness and sanitation measures in place, which made us feel safe during our stay. The staff were exceptional, friendly, and always willing to help. Our room was spacious, clean, and had all the amenities we needed. We are already looking forward to our next stay in January.

One specific situation: We loved the breakfast options at Hyatt Place. However, we would suggest including a breakfast meat option like bacon or sausage in the box with the french toast/pancake choice.
