We had a fantastic stay at Carter Lodge. The owner provided excellent restaurant recommendations and made us feel welcome. The location was perfect, allowing us to easily walk into town. The view of the river and mountains was breathtaking. We loved the outdoor swing, corn hole, and other amenities provided. We will definitely be returning.

Couldn't recommend this hotel more.

Visited Carter Lodge for a family vacation and stayed for three nights. The staff was helpful and the location was perfect. The balcony overlooking the river and the stunning view of Chimney Rock were absolutely priceless. The rooms were clean and comfortable with soft sheets. The hotel grounds were well-maintained and the amenities like outdoor seating, grills, and board games were a great bonus. Would definitely stay here again.

Excellent view and location near food, fun, tours, and shopping. Quiet with friendly staff and guests. Outdoor seating, games, grill, and trail by the river. Beautiful pictures.
