The GEM hotel location was excellent, allowing us to easily walk to anywhere we wanted to go in the city. The staff was brilliant and made us feel very welcome during our 8-day stay over Christmas and New Year. The rooms were modern, clean, and the beds were extra comfortable. The neighborhood was quiet, and the price was perfect. a great experience.

As youngsters, we loved the friendly staff who made us feel welcome even during our late check-in. They even offered us a refrigerator upon request and brought ice to our room. The smart design of the small room suited our needs perfectly, and having a coffee maker in the morning was a great bonus.

The hotel amenities were top-notch, with a sun terrace where I could relax and a restaurant and bar/lounge area where I could enjoy delicious meals and drinks. The room itself was of great quality, with all the necessary amenities like a flat-screen TV, air conditioning, and ironing facilities. I also appreciated the free toiletries and the comfortable bed that ensured a good night's sleep.

The location was absolutely perfect, right in the heart of the city and close to many attractions. The staff was friendly and helpful throughout our stay. We especially enjoyed the happy hour and the complimentary breakfast was a nice touch.

There were a couple of downsides to our stay. The room had a musty smell and felt quite humid, which was a bit uncomfortable.
