During my recent Christmas stay, I was pleased with the cozy atmosphere and friendly service at this B&B. the rooms were well decorated and spacious, providing a comfortable stay. Additionally, the location was convenient, with restaurants within walking distance and a beautiful view of the water.

There were a few aspects that could be improved. the breakfast options were limited, and for the price paid, a bag breakfast felt underwhelming.

The value for money at Harbor Rose Bed & Breakfast was fantastic, and the room we stayed in was cozy and comfortable. The location was perfect, with a beautiful view of the harbor and easy access to the charming shops and coffee shops in the nearby town. The staff, especially Deirdre, the proprietor, were incredibly friendly and accommodating.

Breakfast delights could have been better with a greater variety of fresh-made tea and coffee options.

The Victorian room with king size bed, fireplace, and water views was amazing. The house and grounds were immaculate. Warm welcome with grab and go snacks. Complimentary coffee, tea, beer, wine, and champagne. Great bathroom with cool features. Helpful staff recommending restaurants and providing maps.

Absolutely nothing.

The value for money was excellent and the room was fantastic - spacious and beautiful. The location was wonderful, right across from the bay, and the staff, especially Violetta, were absolutely phenomenal!

The breakfast option could be improved with more traditional B&B fare.

Clean interior, no odors. Calm and inviting atmosphere. Enjoyed detox foot baths and subsistence garden concept. Personal ambience with helpful host family. Homemade breakfast, comfortable beds.

Felt like home away from home!

During my stay at The Harbor Rose, I truly felt like part of the family. The warm and welcoming atmosphere made me feel instantly at ease. From the cozy accommodations to the endless supply of coffee and tea, everything was just perfect. And the breakfast! The steel cut oatmeal with fruit was absolutely delicious. It's rare to find a place that makes you feel so comfortable and cared for. I highly recommend this place for a homely and delightful stay.

Staying in the Victorian Room with the king-sized bed was a delight. The hotel's location right across from the harbor provided a beautiful view, and being next to a forest was perfect for relaxing hikes. The cleanliness of the hotel was exceptional, and the staff went above and beyond to make me feel welcomed and comfortable. The breakfast provided each morning was delicious and convenient, allowing me to start my day off right.

Our stay at Harbor Rose was a wonderful experience! The location is amazing, right in the heart of town and close to many other attractions. The room was clean, spacious, and comfortable. The innkeeper, Deirdre, was friendly and welcoming, making us feel right at home. Breakfasts were healthy and wholesome. We also appreciated the free Wi-Fi and the "In Case You Forgot" drawer with essential items. I highly recommend this hotel for a peaceful and enjoyable stay.

Although the bathroom was shared, it was kept clean and we never had to wait to use it.

The location of the B&B was perfect, with easy access to the nearby town and a beautiful area to explore. the warm welcome we received upon arrival made us feel instantly at home. the complimentary drinks and the opportunity to socialize with other guests in the cozy living room in the evening added a special touch to our stay. the homemade sweet potato pie served during breakfast was a delicious and unique treat that we thoroughly enjoyed.

One of the downsides was the shared bathroom with another guest, which was not ideal. Additionally, the breakfast options were limited and not to our liking.

It was too scary to walk to the nearby town due to the road design. Taking an Uber was the safer option, however, it was quite expensive considering the short distance.

The location is perfect, with a short walk to the charming shops and coffee spots in Cold Spring Harbor town. can enjoy the proximity to the harbor and local park. The view from the balcony is stunning, and the house is beautifully decorated with historic touches. The breakfast treats, including homemade pastries and fresh organic fruit, are absolutely delicious.

Felt right at home, no complaints whatsoever.
