Bright room, comfortable bed, with free wi-fi that kept me connected while I enjoyed the lovely balcony overlooking gardens and a quick access to the nearby grocery store for essentials.

No issues here

the room was small and cramped, with an odd sink placement making it feel even tighter, truly charming. also, when I requested room service, I was unfortunately met with radio silence—so delightful! i also woudl ve been thrilled to be recognized for my stay with a small welcome gift, but alas, here we are. almost gave it a good review, but just couldn’t!

my recent stay at hotel castro was excellent, surpassing my previous trips to san francisco. the delux king studio was beautifully designed with a lovely balcony overlooking gardens, perfect for morning coffee. i loved the vibrant neighborhood and easy access to local bars and restaurants.

the elevator was out of order during my stay.

Absolutely loved the huge floor-to-ceiling windows and the sweet little balcony foliage! The location is top-notch, especially near that fantastic Pasta Panino. The vibrant neighborhood had me feeling right at home!

However, my room had only one chair—guess I was expected to stand while pondering life's great mysteries! Also, the noise at night was like a surprise concert I didn’t sign up for.

during my stay, I enjoyed the stunning rooftop views that outshine any local rooftop bar and appreciated being just a quick 10-minute walk away from Mission Dolores Park, where I could soak in the sun and enjoy the lively scene.

The room was cute and well-equipped, with nice touches like cookies and coffee. The only downside was the limited furniture. just one chair made it uncomfortable at times.

The self-check-in was smooth for the most part, but I faced some confusion with my room codes. I appreciated the quick response from staff regarding any issues. It felt nice to be in a vibrant area rich with culture. I’m particularly fond of places with artistic touches, reflecting a connection to local history.

the only downside was that there was only one chair in the room, which wasn't ideal. but the rooftop views? ? phenomenal! ! the bed was super comfy and i loved the little balcony overlooking local gardens. such a chill vibe!

The location is superb, nestled in a vibrant neighborhood yet quiet enough for a peaceful stay. The King Deluxe room was a standout, featuring a wonderfully comfortable bed and a lovely shower, though the low sink faucet was an inconvenience for filling larger items. The rooftop views are exceptional, perfect for watching the sunset. Accessibility to local eateries and a grocery store across the street made it convenient for dining and snacks. Overall, it felt safe and clean, making it a gem worth returning to.

Great location with clean rooms and effective air conditioning. Flat-screen TV was nice, but the lift was out of order.
